His weird agoraphobia strikes again. There's still places open and he has a car. I don't get his complete reliance on food delivery at all. I am not even saying he has to make his own food. Pretend it's Total Wine or something and get off your fat ass.
Phil has spent enough time being able to avoid going outside to get food most days of the week to become insistent on it being a staple of his lifestyle forever. Like with the vest streak raising his tips expectations, he'll therefore never again be able to stop himself from bitching about it getting impeded, no matter how many times the detractor community roasts him for it.
And like anything else, it stems from his need for, but complete lack of ability to appreciate, other people, even when they serve him like he needs them to. It is this contradicting combination that makes him everything awful that he is, because he therefore has no motivation to try on anything he does, that has him interacting with the world in any way, but also compels him to expect all the things that he therefore does NOT have coming to him. Even other shit-heads don't have those two traits being the proverbial unstoppable force meeting the immovable object to such a perfect degree. It is truly a titanic struggle inside his brain, that will end in a stalemate, and only on the day he dies.
Idk about others, but I will usually choose not to have things like food delivered in shitty weather because I've had delivery jobs and it sucks delivering in it. Not saying that's the correct way to be, it's just my thing. Even if I did make use of it, I certainly wouldn't feel grossly entitled to it if it was made unavailable for a short time.
That's what separates you two, your desire for service isn't in perfectly balanced strength to your concern for the feelings of others. One will give way to the other, when they run into each other. Sometimes you won't be so bothered by somebody have to deal with rain or snow in order to bring you your pizza, sometimes you will. That is a normal thing, the win or lose of either side. Phil is a perpetual lack of any edge gained by either side, he will not stop relying on delivery, and he will not stop giving zero fucks about other people even though they give him what he wants. On top of so many other things he insists on, which contradict each other and never reach an outcome in their struggle. Just look at his streams. He never stops serving himself with his selection of games, and he never stops insisting on people serving his wants by giving him lots of money despite him giving them incentive NOT to. Perpetual stalemate on those contradicting traits, that similarly ends only on his death, and without a solid winner declared.
Phil is claiming that his internet doing down during break is why his viewers are down 100+, instead of his 30 minute break. Did it not occur to Phil that each time he does on break this always happens?
It DOES occur to him, he has even said so before, he just happens to also need an excuse as to why it's not HIM, so there we go. It was the internet tanking. One day, it'll be something else. Only reason he didn't do this before is because he didn't realize that without something else to blame, it'll sound like he's chiding his viewers for leaving because he's on break, and even he knows that's not a good idea. Once it occurs to him, that is.
Also, the reason he even notices is because he's the guy who insists on having such an audience so captivated by his "entertainment" despite all the reasons to call it something else entirely, that even while he's gone, they're still keeping the view count what it was before he took off. Yet another perpetual stalemate with him. He'll never stop demanding such loyalty, or ever properly reward it.
