If the Republicans sweep to victory in the mid-terms and / or 2024, then American Conservatives will have a whole new challenge to face which is making sure that their representatives and senators actually follow through on the campaign promises that got them there. And that will be no small task. The Conservatives got a tonne of seats in the UK's last General Election and Boris has gone power mad with his new majority. Only the backbenchers in the Tory party are keeping him somewhat restrained.
Mark my words - if the Republicans sweep to victory, then the real challenge begins.

Running Congress has always been akin to herding cats, but yes, voters holding their representatives feet to the fire and getting them to undo or at a minimum block the insanity of the Democrats should be the primary focus of any "grassroots conservatives" who aren't just looking for an easy paycheck.
