Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

Kellie Jay-Keen and James Max debate on Talk Radio. Kenn dodges the traps Max sets up, and Max proceeds to embarrass himself. 95% of people polled on Twitter agree with Keen.

Oh yeah I saw that the other day. The only sticking point "against" Posie was the bit about being gay possibly being a choice.

I don't have a strong opinion on that either way, and in a stream she justified it by talking about her "political lesbian" friends, but casual viewers/listeners wouldn't hear that, and it's a point people can beat her with...

You guys remember a few pages back when Lindsay scolded Twitter with a picture of Adam sulking because his YouTube channel didn’t get enough likes? Where she was all, “look what you’ve done to Cinderelly! Shame on you all!” I almost felt bad about her birthday being ruined over his brow ridge mantrum until I remembered she expects everyone else to be just as moved by adams emotional manipulation.

I also find the notion of a grown ass man being “deeply upset” over having to see his name absolutely hilarious. This is why that one video I watched from this thread said people think of trans issues as being a white people problem. Imagine all the problems people face all the world over, and this guy is crying over his name being tied to a coupon lol. Doesn’t he have thousands of dollars in debt he could be worrying about?

The part Kellie mentions at the very end is something she should have said at the beginning and brought it home more often: That 90% (not sure if that number is accurate, but let's say it is) of MTF don't have the intention of fully transitioning. There are more than enough MTFs in this very thread alone, who show off boob and dick picks on their social media platforms. If they say that they identify as women, should they be allowed to be in womens bathrooms and lockers? Absolutely fucking not. If she wants to refer to these people as he / him, then she has every right to do so, because real women don't have dicks. James most likely only had fully transitioned people in mind and was defending them. But those fully transitioned people are most likely a very, very small minority in the grand scheme of things.

So, I've gone down the rabbit hole of r/menwritingwomen videos and it's been rather fun to see how much some men genuinely don't get about chicks. I tried watching a Strange Aeon video about the subreddit and...

So, a man cannot write a woman properly because he was not born a woman. But if this man puts on a dress, congratulations. You are now wise to the way of womanhood.

Have we ever found out if Lindsay was trans too? Certainly looks like it...

I need to "sudo dd if="/dev/null/" of="/dev/sda/" bs=4M conv=fsync" my brain after seeing that. Fucking hell.
Nerd.

(Of course, I understood that so I'm a nerd too)

RE: Cinderella and dead names. It's the name on the package FFS. I don't even usually look at the address label on packages delivered to me. I open them, throw the empty box onto the recycling pile, haul them to recycling when I have a bunch. Am I the wierd one? It feels like I'm not, but I'm a Farmer so the jury's out.

Dammit, everytime someone posts from r/transpassing I fall down a rabbit hole for an hour...

it's good for some laughs tho

Other than the fact their cat looks oddly ecstatic I think this one looks pretty cute honestly... I'd hug.

Or maybe something else is totally going over my head that I haven't noticed (what's the orange thing hanging up on the cupboard handle?) because I literally can't see much wrong with this...

Probably made a fool of myself now, but eh, at least this one isn't some fatfaced beer-bellied lunatic wearing the brightest, most clashing clothes imaginable.

Yeah she's choosing to stay with this narcissist.

Also, he said the reason he ruined her birthday because of dysphoria over his eyebrows. He posted this on Twitter a short while ago (archive not working, screenshot below):

If he's so distraught he could just do what so many women do and pluck/wax them. And if he was actually distressed about them, he would have done it already. I don't believe he was dysphoric at all, just pissed at not being the centre of attention for one day.

Also wtf is that eyeliner. It's meant to go on the lash line, not several mm above it.

It's funny we're bringing up King of the Hill. In the episode where Luanne and Peggy join the roller derby team, their derby uniforms...

Are the exact colors of the troon flag.

I also remember the episode where Hank's driver license had him down as female (and the joke of him and Peggy being lesbians), and remember when he went to a doctor to confirm that he was male, and the doctor refused to proclaim him male, and Hank asked, "Surely you can tell the difference between the real [penis] thing and a surgically created one?"
And the doctor replied, "Legally, I'm not allowed to."

Scary how that show kind of foreshadowed the gender craziness we have today, where doctors are supposed to act like SRS butchery is literally indistinguishable from the real thing.

Oh FFS. There's nothing wrong with those eyebrows. They're a little thick for a woman maybe, but last I knew thick brows were in. Still they're neat, nicely arched, not a unibrow, no real stray hairs. They're fine!

He looks far more feminine in that selfie than he did in the one where the waitress called him sir. The mask and the makeup are doing a lot of heavy lifting in hiding the "that's a man" cues. The eyeliner is tragic. So well drawn but so far away from the lash line. WTF?

He's doing the narc tantrum to get attention back on him, "where it belongs", is all.

ETA : I'm starting to get the impression that I need to watch King of the Hill. I always thought it was just some dumb making fun of hicks show, like a redneck American Dad level humor, but you guys make it sound actually funny.

King of the Hill is a great show. And now, I will get back to making fun of trannies.

It's a lot more thoughtful than it gets credit for, with layered humour. Appropriate, considering the writer's cv.

It's a good show despite seasonal rot that tends to happen with long running shows and some really dumb retcons on later seasons. Compared to other American adult comedy cartoons it's more realistic and calm in tone. It does poke fun of redneck stuff and conservative culture but it's also shows tons of love and respect towards Texas and their values. It's really not a hateful show most of the time and tends treat everyone as capable of being wrong and worthy of ridicule.

HANK: Can't you tell the difference between the ones made by God and the ones jerry-rigged out of a toe and some old skin?
Honestly, if that's how they actually did phalloplasty, that'd give vastly better results. I mean, it'd be a micropenis and they'd be down a toe, but they wouldn't have the nerve damage and horrible scars from the arm sausage procedure. It'd probably have a lot smaller chance of rotting off.

It's funny Mike Judge's joke about a gross hypothetical surgical dick procedure is less horrifying than the real thing.

King of the Hill was really one of the last of it's kind. First, it tried to be realistic, and even though Hank and co were traditionally conservative (or a conspiracy theorist such as Dale) the characters were able to adapt their own viewpoints, without making the characters look like idiots (think American Dad), and to show that compromise was achievable and viewpoints can be changed or at least, they were able to examine why they had those viewpoints.

Granted, the first few seasons, Hank and the crew were seen as rednecks, but eventually they evolved from stupid rednecks into ordinary, albeit conservative, normal people.

I last heard that they were going to reboot the show, but I doubt with today's climate, that it's going to be feasible, especially because the themes touched on the show, would be heavily criticized now. All the topics they discuss on the show, such as racism, patriotism, sexism, would be branded problematic in today's climate. Which is a shame, but at the same time, Hank Hill and all the regular characters in the show, would be heavily against the identity and racist politics that are now the norm.

But yeah, the entire series is available on Hulu, and I definitely recommend giving it a watch, if nothing else because it was a time when things were actually normal, and the oppression Olympics weren't even a thing, and shows you just how far we've gone from "everyone is equal" to "everything must be based on oppression and privilege".
