So dsp is pretty much asking for a new pc so he can use windows 10 BUT he is not playing any games on it.

Spoiler: he has no fucking clue. If you're in video games, streaming, 3D modelling or video editing, you want a gaming PC. The specs required for what you need to do (RAM, video card, processor, etc.) are pretty much the same for all three.

Seeing as he's never once said it legitimately in his entire 13 year begacy, I'd say it's probably the hardest thing he could ever do.

In fairness, there were times where he actually admitted to his fuck ups. The problem is that they were EXTREMELY rare.

Phil believes he can't outright say it that way, though, because he thinks if he gets a gaming PC, there's won't be any excuse for him to avoid PC games. So he has to make it seem like a gaming PC isn't necessarily the best choice for him, even though any powerful PC of the sort he needs almost certainly is going to be capable of playing plenty of games.

That's what my guess is, anyway. Of course, Phil could just be upfront with his paypigs and warn them that even if he gets a gaming PC, not to expect him to play games on it. Because he's, you know, not interested. But since when has being truthful and straightforward been how Phil has dealt with anything?

He's wanting a workstation PC which is completely unnecessary for his needs and can easily be twice or more expensive than a regular gaming PC. I'm assuming he's saying these things to jack up the asking money from his fans since many are probably less savvy on such things (because they are idiots). Not to mention to also scratch his desperate need to relay to everyone he is a "REAL ADULT" and buying a PC Gaming Computer is for CHILDREN and not up to spec for his ADULT needs.

It's fucking ridiculous, I know, but this is DSP's world we're talkin'...

Friendly reminder DSP has claimed he built gaming PCs as a hobby during the 2000s but now doesn't know shit about how to build one and is evidently so stupid and lazy he can't do some minor research and just upgrade what he has so he has to buy another pre built PC that will stay on 24/7 during the next 6 years and never be updated because "it might fuck it up".

PC building is so much easier now than the last time Phil was shopping. Basically, every PC is a capable gaming PC now, you just need a GPU. Even APUs can be decent enough for most games Phil plays. And, no, he absolutely does not need a "workstation PC". Any CPU released in the last 5 years is more than enough for his needs.

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to buy some overpriced workstation PC for his machoor adult LARP (he still refuses to call the chair he sits on a gaming chair) and because more $$$=better, just look at that laptop he bought which is way overpriced for what he needed it for, which is LiMBing nudniks and checking money coming in for an instant dopamine hit. From what I remember the laptop he got was some $600 lemon when he could've gotten some cheap piece of shit laptop which would work perfectly for what he needs it for for like $150-200. Then again I forgot if the laptop was "donated" or not but it doesn't matter. And as a streamer he should just get a gaming PC, gaming and video rendering basically require the same shit.

In the real machoor adult world that shit doesn't matter, a friend of mine did graphic design in uni so of course they needed to get good enough laptops to run the programs they needed for their courses. All of them ended up buying the cheapest possible gaming laptops they could find rather than spending 4 times the money for some Mac.

The reason he said he doesn't want a gaming PC is because then he will set the expectation that he can stream PC games. He definitely does NOT want people asking him to play all the random games on Steam/EGS. So he needs a new PC, BUT he needs one that, for some reason or another, he can somehow claim isn't for streaming PC games, it's just for streaming consoles.
