Incel and Lonely Men Debate thread - Defend men giving up or tell them otherwise

No one will ever get any help from this whiplash of a thread, literally contradictory advice every other post by people who apparently believe themselves to be relationship/dating savants, or at least knowledgable on the topic.
Absolutely.

Heck, I think I've been posting contradictory advice just between my own posts.

Tbh I can't hate on the people trying to help(except the ones ridiculing people) because their advice might have worked for themselves, but that's the thing, it worked for them because of their specific traits and other aspects of their life. Theres no one truth when it comes to social interactions of mating.

Personally I tend to agree with the manospheres cynical outlook on modern dating, but that's because it aligns fairly well with my own cynical view of modernity.

Unironically "be yourself" is the only advise that should ever be given. Be true to yourself, don't change who you are to get women that will just make you miserable, it made me miserable. I'd rather be a socially ostracized autistic outcast and be true to myself, than lie to myself and others everyday in attempt to fit in and not break social order. If a woman can't love you for who you are at your core then brother she's not the one, and lying to get her will just end in misery for both of you.(no I'm not saying you should be an obese shut in that's not healthy for reasons other than getting pussy.)

Literally this thread.
"Men have no standards, raise your standards as a collective mass and women will be easier to get!"(bunch of updoots)
I literally quoted this post disagreeing with it. My opinion did not change.

Are there guys with no standards? Absolutely, but those guys aren't usually incels because they end up poking some hambeast.

In my experience, incels usually have this specific list of demands that they stick rigidly and autistically too. Again, there's having standards and there's being arbitrary. If you have a list of ten things you're looking for and you meet a girl who fills nine of them, I stand by my assessment that you're a tad retarded if she's into you and you don't at least give her a shot. Like, if a girl is perfect, seemingly ticks every box, she's smart, funny, pretty, has a career, you go on three dates and it goes well, then she takes off her clothes to have sex with you the first time and has a tattoo on her ass, you're going to ditch her over it? Fucking lol.

It's almost like women and men are all individuals and no one piece of advice can guarantee success. I think the best, and only, advice is to stop reading about dating and actually go do it

I don't know, dude. If people avoid you and no woman will date you while you're being yourself, maybe it's a sign that you're a sperg or something like that, and it's time to change?

Damn, I only want her to be pretty, loyal and old fashioned. She doesn't need to make bank nor be smart. Its a bonus, but its a tad unrealistic.

These incels need to stop obsessing over scoring a "hot chick" and take a break from the grind. They need to realize it's far more important to better themselves with skills and interests so that they can first enjoy their own company without the requirement of others. Once they do that and find something they're passionate about that ISN'T fucking women, they'll be that better off than they were before. They'll also need to work on social skills and shit like that but finding a better more enjoyable thing to focus on would help those fuckers out.

Also realizing that dating and romancing isn't what it's all cracked up to be? That's pretty good too

While I agree about finding passion and self improvement I must disagree with the last part. Going full "Oh well it sucks anyways" is pure sour grapes cope.

Not saying it sucks 100%, there's a lot of good to be found in it when it's with the right person.

Thoughts?

I agree. Right now one of the main problems is coming from is online grifters pushing these artificial ways to improve your life.

These lonely men tend to fall into the same trappings when life doesn't hit expectations and look for a solid solution as though people are robotic.

Once you get into the flow of proper interactions you'll learn on the fly, rather than having a mental breakdown cause the phrase you copied from a "Charisma on command" video didn't pan out right.

I think the poster is retarded. Everyone goes through a point of "self improvement" it's called "coming of age". All normies went though the childhood state into the adolescent state into the young adult state into the adult state. And every state had its learning pains, issues, fuck-ups and victories. Nothing comes easily - life isn't easy - and the only certainties in life are taxes and death.

The problem with incels is they're so self-absorbed that they don't ever try to consider the world from anyone else's view point - they never acknowledge that everyone else deals with hardships and problems that need to be overcome to progress. They think they're a lone victim of fate and the whole world is against them and holding them back; when in actuality the rest of the world is dealing with its own shit and doesn't even know they exist.

They're Covert Narcissists: only their pain matters, only their emotions are valid, only their feelings count. Because to incels they are the only RealPlayerCharacter and everyone else is an NPC. And they're angry because they don't get to fuck/date/marry their ideal NPC waifu

I disagree. The poster sort of misses the point of why normies get into that state in the first place. Flow doesn't come from nowhere. It breaches into someone's being through recognizing opportunity and moving to it. Learning how to move there requires effort but once you're there it accumulates through momentum.
