Apparently the surgery he's getting in the US this month is FFS.
RIP the Philosophy Chin, 1993-2022.
He has to be shaving it down, right? It's the most prominent masculine feature on his face. But I'm not sure if reducing it would actually help his aesthetics — a softer jaw would sit strangely with his other features, the thick neck and the broad body in particular. Personally I think it's madness to make tweaks that disrupt your general harmony of form, but we're well past the point of sanity here, so hack away, I guess.
What else will he get? Brow bossing? Rhinoplasty? Whatever he picks off the menu, I doubt the surgeries will improve those beady, hollow, distinctly male eyes. Nevertheless I expect "my surgeon is an artist" comments in at least one of the philosophy of art videos he's planning to make this year. Not a name, of course, because that's ~private. Just a little flex because he can't help tossing his transness into every word salad he makes.
Also this tweet is old but I have to comment:
There wasn't much else about the movie to like.
Funny that he's done a 180 from virtuously refusing to see Matrix Resurrections in theaters for Omicron reasons to talking about his favorite parts. What are the odds he's actually seen it? He’s fudged so many little claims, and saying that Carrie-Anne Moss was good is hardly evidence of a viewing — CAM is always good. There's also the possibility that he pirated the movie, as HD copies have been floating around since it dropped on HBO Max day and date in the US. Or maybe he reneged on his earlier tweet and coughed up the cash for a ticket after all.
In any case, of course Olly would speak highly of Resurrections. A trans woman who did all his most memorable work as a man was paid to produce an incoherent, self indulgent, rehashed flop that nevertheless drives progressives online to smear critics as reactionaries in its defense. It's the Philosophy Tube dream! Shame he'll never make anything as fresh and striking as the original Matrix.
