I wonder how much time passed between Amy telling Tammy she was pregnant again, and Tammy's obvious further exacerbating health issues. Sisters tend to tell each other about stuff like this well before they tell others in their orbit. Amy couldn't make it any clearer to Tammy, that she and Michael have moved on with their lives and Tammy's needs are no longer of any priority to them. As an audience member only, I was completely done when in last week's episode Tammy stated that her family should all be grateful that she still had enough mobility to clean herself and as such they didn't need to change her dirty adult diapers along with everything else they do for her that she doesn't acknowledge or show an ounce of gratitude for... She should be grateful that her family to that point was taking her in and caring for her. That comment should have been enough to prompt the siblings to put the ungrateful bitch into a nursing home and never break their backs (or their hearts) either physically caring, or mentally worrying about her. It's past time for Tammy to accept she's eaten her way to where she is now and it's no one else's responsibility to care for her. I'd lay odds on her dying before baby number two is born anyway, and the young siblings will have hours of TLC footage and other social media to look back on see exactly what kind of person their auntie Tammy was.

Amy is 12 weeks pregnant, as of today (according to her due date). So,...that means an end-of-October conception. When did Tammy go full bed-bound? I could totally see her being THAT needy and manipulative. Sadly, though, I think this is just part of the death process that everyone has been warning Tammy about for the last five years.

So, Amy is pushing out another kid that she can't afford and will use as an excuse. I'm low key impressed by her ease of getting pregnant. Most deathfats struggle with fertility.

Tbh I don’t think that Tammy’s total surrender is a form of retaliation, imho she’s just hurting because Amy’s life is going way better that anyone would have thought and she failed.
Basically, she’s envious and depressed.

This episode was kinda fun. Amanda is a good character addition. Excited for her confrontation with Tammy next episode. Looks like Tammy ruins the family vacation.

The cliffhanger is peak deathfat. Will Tammy make the attempt up the mobile ramp into the rental cabin? If she does, will it break under her weight? Or will she resign herself to sleeping alone in the van they all just traveled 6-9 hours in while making everyone else feel guilty and miserable about it?

TLC are such bastards lmao.

I hate to be that person, lol jk I love being that person but some people should really not be allowed to have kids. Like for fucks sake man. It's actually quite common for post bariatric surgery patients to fall pregnant quickly and often unexpectedly. That surgery absolutely fucks with the hormones, estrogen levels in particular can hit the roof as the fat cells release estrogen at far higher levels. For those women of reproductive age, surgeons usually give very strong warning of the increased chance of pregnancy as well as recommending back up strategies to prevent conception as birth control pills are malabsorbed and unreliable after gastric bypass surgery.

How big was Amanda before her gastric bypass....she claimed to have lost half her weight, yet looks to still be around 300lbs at a minimum. If that's the case, she must have started out at Tammy's size, and there aren't many surgeons (particularly years ago when she claimed to have her surgery) that would have operated on someone that size. If she was smaller than that (which I suspect is the case), then she must have regained a significant chunk of weight and really shouldn't be putting herself out there with the family as a successful WLS example. The whole family clearly has major issues around food, and I doubt either Amy or Chris will ever get within 150lb of their goal weights either. I would have thought that having a sibling have WLS, around others having WLS, would act as encouragement to eat according to their surgeon's plans...in these siblings though they are just encouraging eating way off the plan.
