That's the thing PLA is a main series title so I'm pretty mixed about the idea of them throwing out this region.

This feels even weirder because they did an ARG stunt not long ago with km0d0 in specific. And it gets more confusing as you start looking into their talents, it feels like they invested the most in this girl by a MILE, between animation and the diaries.
The differences between Haru, Winters and km0d0 diaries are like night and day.


Something to keep up in mind considering auditions for Holo are up (I think Niji as well?)

She's an elderly Jewish retiree in Boynton Beach, complaining about the South Florida weather. She picked the name GAWR off a sticker on the moving van. "Shark mom" on the holiday stream was her granddaughter calling from back home in Bridgeport. Everybody knows.

Bae and IRyS have an unplanned block game collab because IRyS can't get GTA to start, one thing lead to another and they end up writing a BaeRys R-16 fan fiction together at Bunkeroni. I agreed that filthy shipper need to be culled, but what to do when they do it themselves?

Say what you will about shork brain but she's smart enough to drop a few poisoned breadcrumbs here and there to keep the autists off her trail.

I'd be willing to bet that one or both of the things you mentioned are actually false when it comes to her.

I could maybe see that being true for the weather but any mention of what time it is or when something is scheduled is always EST, even when its just an off the cuff comment to chat or someone she's collabing with.

Resident weatherfag here: The whole East/Southeast has been under a heatwave for basically all of December that just ended a day ago. 80s were basically everywhere across Dixie.

Also, "warm"/"hot" is a relative term. It's fucking winter here in the northeast and 35F/40F without windchill is considered as fucking warm. Hell, it was fucking 50F (considered as toasty during winter season) a few days ago and I was able to walk outside in a thin hoodie. Meanwhile, temps hit anything below 70s in parts of California and those faggots start breaking out winter coats.

I was using this (uploading an image keeps giving me an error) for reference. The only reason why Gura's comment activated my almonds is because I live on the east coast and it's bitterly cold here the last few days.

Based on her discussions involving various redneck centric topics, accent, food she's mentioned her family having for holidays - I'm sure she is in the southeastern US and my personal theory is Georgia or one of the Gulf states. The pork back etc scream southern, she could be texan but idk the nascar references and more make me lean toward Georgia or possibly even as far as the Carolinas but no further west than Texas.
 
Akatora Chimon, an indie male vtuber, will be graduating on the 10th of January. He's also stated that we'll see him again in the future, and that he won't do a graduation stream because he doesn't want to profit off of his graduation.


This is a bit interesting since Chimon is a member of the Hanamori group of EN vtubers. For those who don't know, two of the previous Hanamori members to graduate - Ryuusei Nova and Codename Tora - went on to join Nijisanji EN. Mint Fantome was closely associated with Hanamori, and also graduated to join NijiEN. So naturally some people have already started speculating that Chimon may be following in their path.

That being said, the timing would be a bit unusual, since NijiEN has not had any auditions since the close of the wave 3 and 4 ones. I suppose it is possible that they picked up more members in the wave 3 and/or 4 auditions than those who debuted as Ethyria and Luxiem, and are planning on debuting them in a subsequent wave, similar to how Lazulight and Obsydia were both from the wave 1 audition. Or Chimon could be going to another agency, of course, as NijiEN isn't the only one out there.

As @kukkia mentioned in regards to the other graduation, it's impossible to rule out Niji on paper, as you can't tell when they have scouted for a future wave (Obsydia being the second 'half' of their first scouting pool and were there the whole time, for example).

That said, I think it's safe to rule out km0d0, as she debuted in the same month that Ethyria auditions opened, and it had a sharp deadline. There are currently no formal auditions for a Wave 5. I think it's also safe to rule out Holo as their auditions have just opened and will still be a while before anything starts to take shape. Phase Connect and VShojo do still have their new Gen looming overhead, though.

Worth keeping an eye on. Hanamori in general is just a banner a group of Indies fall under, and a good chunk of them have already made it clear that they're friends of NijiEN (Maia, Shxtou, and Eri in particular). It's difficult to tell, but if I had a group of friends on Twitch, I feel I'd only want to move on if I both knew I had a more lucrative offer lined up, and that lucrative offer would allow me to maintain contact with them.

I'll have to do some kind of scout report on the rest of the members just in case.

I know it is numberfagging and was discussed before but these current YT live numbers are crazy.
Luna's anniversary live peaked at only 13k, Holox with only a few thousand viewers (even if they coole down that is too sudden/too little) and even Gura only got 13,7k in her last stream.
Do you think this impacts their revenue or were not all numbers in the past monetized to begin with (because of adblocker usage)? Holostats
In other news the "oh nyo" is spreading amongst the holo moms
