For all his manosphere grifting I haven't yet gotten the idea that Jack is particularly outwardly homophobic like you might expect from some family values politician or anti gay preacher who gets caught with his pants down in an airport bathroom, though I could be wrong and have just not looked too far into him. He might even think there's nothing wrong with being an apex manly man and being gay as long as you're the one topping twinks in good old Roman fashion. Tim is sinking his own ship. The problem is he let Jack on after the outburst without following up with Sydney or Elijah for the full story and when Jack played the "we were both wrong, but she was more wrong because of my boundaries" card Tim decided to split his cheeks and sit on the fence as hard as he could by not challenging Jack on that one. This ended up with Sydney being rightfully upset and following up. Then it just kept getting worse and now Tim is trying to play the game of not addressing it to take the high road, but that window closed when he had Jack on giving his side of the story. It's also just making his connection to Jack seem worse and worse as Jack was his first guest on TimCast IRL and was a weekly to biweekly guest that was very close to Tim. He still could have distanced himself from that easily, but by ignoring it, it makes him more suspicious.

The big difference is no one knew why Adam left and it wasn't until recently we learned he was fired, and Adam played it as if the break up was mutual for a long time. Jack on the other hand imploded in such an extreme fashion I don't think a lot of people are going to forget what his rectum looks like.
