How could this be done if the Church was weak and basically powerless? To bring this back around, in a marriage relationship, why would a man marry a weak woman, who is basically useless, when he also wants that woman to help run his house, and raise his children into the proper God-fearing adults they should be? More importantly, why wouldn't he want a woman that was capable of actually assisting him in a partnership that will accomplish his life goals? A weak woman is useless in this respect. Basically the best situation is to have a strong, capable woman willingly submit to your headship, and you to love her as your own body in response to her willing submit to you. That is a tremendous responsibility.

I think a big issue is that to have a woman willingly submit to your authority in a marriage is a tremendous gift, but also a tremendous responsibility. Since Nick and co. are children mentally, they can't handle that responsibility, so they wish for a society that will enforce their childlike view of a marriage relationship so they won't have to shoulder the responsibility to lead a woman and family themselves.

If I remember correctly, Millennial Matt was a part of the alt-right/TRS-adjacent crowd and was good friends with Baked Alaska during Charlottesville.
