I mean, his "involved" is mostly: A. Making or helping make some crappy student films; B. Claiming he was a teacher in a movie school.

My bad, he wasn't shooting Bruce Campbell movie, E-Rod skipped his Q&A because of the Movie shoot, but later, Bruce complemented him (because of his top 10 Bruce Campbell list) on his Twitter, which he bragged about. Still according to this, he is involved in the Movie business somehow.

I don't know how much this has changed since the pandemic started, but I have a little bit of experience on this topic.
PA work is incredibly easy to get pretty much anywhere in the country that isn't the middle of of nowhere. It doesn't require any experience at all in most cases, and yeah it can sometimes include work as menial as "go get everybody coffee" depending on the set.

It's almost always freelance work, but the pay can actually be pretty decent.

These images are maximum tier cringe. I wouldn't be surprised if Doug made him give oral favors to all the current contributors from most popular to least popular in that order before accepting him into their dead muppet gang bang.

Wasn’t ERod super willing to get into CA? Maybe he’d do…all you described himself without provocation. And then he’d throw down with anyone who talked smack about his favorite superheroes.

Oh yeah. In the early days he was dying to be part of that site but then so were a lot of people like DSP. And when he finally got on he was on board will the memes and goings on like how all the guys were in love with Lupa. He really drove that one into the ground. Constantly trying to weasel his way into collabs with other producers and to my knowledge the only ones he did were with Lewis and Doug.

He was never a draw to the site so he was never part of the anniversary specials. Even all these years later he still has barely cracked 10K subscribers. Meanwhile somebody like Phelan who was in the 50-60K range when he left is now over 100K.

And now he hates Doug and his fans. And is probably seething whenever Doug screws up and isn’t forced into retirement. Or is more popular than his “real” friends (According to him at least)

Of course, everything is Doug's fault. But the ironic thing is, he is Doug but without the success.

At some point he proposed his new thing would be to go into the bad movies and fix them. So he'd interact with the characters in the movie, show them the wrongness of what they were doing and then do it better. That's Demo Reel 2.0. You know, that one show that nobody liked and forced Doug to go back and do the old stuff he was doing before? Yeah well E-rod had to do the same thing. When his dozen or so fans cried that they didn't like this new direction he dropped it and went back to busting movies like he did before.

But unlike Doug who managed to make fun of the whole Demo Reel thing and treats it as a failed experiment, E-rod gets angry if anybody brings it up. Once more showing that while Doug might be a untalented asshat, he at least has a sense of humor about these things. E-rod takes himself WAY too seriously.

I think the fact that I have no idea what he’s supposed to be doing or representing in his videos as this “voice and hero of the fanboys” encapsulates how much I feel ERod has lost anything resembling the plot. Whatever the point of his “character persona” is, I don’t get it. I just don’t get it.

His entire 'persona' was "What are Doug, Lewis, and everyone else I like doing? Okay, I'll just copy that". But while Doug took inspiration from Angry Video Game Nerd, he was able to do his own thing that got popular. Erod just copies without understanding why things work.
