The very first seconds of the "Quick Live" she has her door ajar so she can move her seat forward. She moved her seat backwards the other day to show off her treasures from the store (moments after being a 'super spreader' around the store). That day she blamed her large coat as the reason she had to open the door to reach the seat button.
Today, not only no big coat, but....why would she have her seat back while parked at the hospital waiting to get in? What in the Rona is going on here?

It's a Canada thing. They go to the hospital for everything over there because they have to admit you and it's free.
Trying to even get a regular clinic visit these days is very difficult. You might even have to wait days to weeks to get a Telehealth (phone) visit.
I'm pretty sure nearly everywhere is out of covid tests though. Everyone and their grandmother is testing for covid every day now.

I remember in the shopping stream, Chantal mentioned she was out of her inhaler and supposedly the pharmacy was contacting the doctor to get it filled. I'm wondering if her doctor refused the refill to make her come in because she's ignoring calls and appointments so she went to the ER to get her inhaler. This is the type of bullshit she pulls all the time--using up emergency services because she doesn't want to go to her regular GP, be called out and face the consequences of her poor life choices. That is, if she even went to the hospital. I'm not convinced this wasn't all a lie so that she could get a few minutes to go live and blow off steam from staying at Nader's/stuff her face with fast food.
Also yeah @GargoyleGorl I think her face looks super bloated in this and I'm wondering if it's fluid retention (a bad sign) or if it's just her mask interfering with that poor overworked filter.

She clearly is sick. She can't fake the breathing & while we're used to her weird breathing & wheezing, I swear there's an extra... something going on right now. But I may be hearing what I'm wanting to hear. She's definitely congested & she IS swollen - even the bags under her eyes have filled in & death fats especially really show the inflammation a lot of infectious diseases bring. Normally I'd scoff & say she's making a big deal over a head cold or flu except there are very very few other respiratory illnesses around right now in this area.
You are not to go to emerg for CoVD testing - Public Health & the hospitals have been ramming that home. Folks with any serious underlying conditions have had their doctors spell out to them under what circumstances they should seek medical attention & any number of medical sources are happy to help the with that. Chantal has never been that responsible.
She is high risk due to her weight, diabetes, tendency to blood clots, asthma, so I can't see them refusing her a test although she should have called, if only out of courtesy, to check first.
IF she did go to hospital & actually went in, I hope she brought drinks, snacks, phone charger & a lot of patience. Our hospitals are on the ragged edge right now with major staffing shortages & a growing tide of patients that grows by the day & is till building up steam.
If she went where I think she did - one entrance open only so they can make sure EVERYBODY gets screened. She can score a wheelchair 20 feet past the front doors - disinfected ones neatly lined up to the right. She shouldn't have to wait more than 10 - 15 minutes max to be screened & if she claims she's too weak to wheel herself, a porter will bring her up to emerg on the second floor. She'll be screened again, then sit & wait to be triaged. Unless she's visibly in respiratory distress, (they'll check her pulse oxygenation along with other vitals), she'll be directed to the CoVD waiting area & wait she will. They'll do a test I would think, as part of triage but probably a PCR & those results will take a few days to come in. In terms of her overall waiting time, I'm not sure what their current arrangements are for presumptive CoVD cases but unless she's bleeding out or turning blue, she's in for a long night before being seen by an emerg resident. She won't be high priority & listening to the emergency scanner, EMS is busy tonight... very busy.
I was in several months ago with sudden onset shingles that left me VERY uncomfortable & didn't get to see the doc for 10.5 hours. It was sad seeing people in far more distress & with visibly nasty injuries also having to wait. The nurses were going around giving shots of narcotics to several with visibly broken limbs & apparently, it was not considered THAT busy a night.
So... barring a sudden &dramatic collapse, she's in for a very long wait. Not sure what she's expecting but unless she needs oxygen or diuretics for fluid retention, she'll be sent home with a list of sensible things to do that she should know anyway.
I earlier said she was sick but if she had time to sit in the parking garage & harangue people & still be able to breathe, she could have bloody well waited until morning & called her doctor.

Agreed. Cokey got sick of her lazing around, befouling his bed and coughing while he was trying to chat with people he actually has interest in interacting with. "Baaaabe, I'm sick. Coddle me!" "If you so sick, you go hospital. You drive. Go."
This is true. But what kills me is that she's still more concerned over people being mean to her on the internet and "fighting back" against the haydurs than she is in her own health. There's a serious respiratory disease floating around, you're coughing, bloated in the face, and gasping for breath, but the real issue is FFG's weird mouth and Shannon's ham sandwich. Right.
I'm not saying she should be panicking, and like you said, if this were any other year of my life I'd be contemptuous of her going to the hospital over a minor cough, clots or no clots. If you can drive yourself and spend half an hour bitching about mean girls when you get there, you don't really need the emergency room. If you've blown off your GP one too many times and they've fired you as a patient (or for that matter, you're too fucking lazy to get the bloodwork they're insisting on before refilling your prescriptions) then you don't just waltz into the emergency room to get your pills (which you don't take) or puffer (which you don't use properly).
However, this isn't any ordinary year. I don't totally blame her for going to the ER -- or rather, I wouldn't blame her for going to the ER if it wasn't 100% for pity, asspats, and prescription refills. She's using her cough as an excuse for her yearly ER run, which she wanted to do anyway.
She's so insane, it's unbelievable.
Still entertaining, though. Although, if she comes back and makes one peep about how long the wait was or how rude (read: tired) the nurses were, I might get a bit MATI.

Chantal’s family evidently has Covid. Nader is very likely sick of her shit. Peetz is useless in almost every regard. Rina buggered off long ago and *Shannon is Shannon. Bibi is no longer her rock. Nick lost her number back in April. Dubai guy is imaginary. Her VIBs have been dragging her relentlessly over her Covid bullshit.
But she’s sick. She needs comfort and care because she’s basically a toddler. I can’t tell whether or not she’s being melodramatic but I suspect she is. But clearly something is wrong, even if it’s just the way the common cold manifests in a hugely and grossly fat and unhealthy person. But she feels bad, and there’s no one to comfort her. Not even fake drama with Shannon managed to change the narrative in chat. People got sick of her as she sat in the parking lot at the ER.
So of course she’s at the ER. She literally has nowhere else to turn if she needs physical and emotional comfort of any kind. But if @DefCon Dumb is right, and I totally believe that description of the average ER wait for a Covid patient, Chantal’s not even going to find comfort in an underpaid immigrant wiping her ass in the ER.
She is totally alone. She can’t even exploit the ER for ego and ass strokes. It’s sad. It’s hilarious. It was utterly inevitable.
While if anyone deserves to have Covid, it is Chantal, I still hope this proves to be a tempest in a teapot. If she’s going to go out, it needs to be far more dramatic. Like live streaming a drunk driving accident, or stroking out on camera. Quietly drifting away on a respirator isn’t how I want this to end.
Also yeah, most of us are Covid saints, ya fat fuck. Even the majority of Q-Anon true believers who think Covid is a bad cold don‘t go to the fucking mall if they felt sick the day before. People who many consider addled sociopaths are way more saintly. If that poor clerk at Pennington's who had to tell her to use hand sanitizer gets sick, I hope she takes the last hospital bed and Chantal ends up spending a week on a gurney in a hallway.
