I'll take my negrates for this but I'd actually support "patriotic socialism" if it wasn't massively pozzed when it came to social issues. If a socialist candidate promised not to force LGBT ideology and CRT onto Appalachia, he could win Appalachia. The issue is that candidate doesn't exist and there are plenty of people who want to make sure he doesn't exist - why do you think AOC and Kendi get so much funding from big tech and George Soros? It sure as heck isn't because they're a threat to the elites in the US.

When someone is liberal in the US, that doesn't say a word about their economic stances. It only speaks to their social stances.

It's weird because they absolutely hate the country. Promoting love for the US is just asinine for them since they spent months defending burning cities down, spent years burning the Constitution to claim one party rule, and spent decades terraforming and indoctrinating their constituents because they "can't just trust those voters."

What they are trying to do is "patriotism for party rule." It's the same thing as them screaming FOR SAVING OUR DEMOCRACY. It means maintaining their control. Nothing more.

There have always been glowies on both “sides”. This is the Establishment’s play to try and cut into the GOP’s “Patriotism” advantage. Evelyn Farkas laid out this strategy back in 2017-2018 IIRC. It sounded ridiculous then, but in typical Dem fashion, they’ve gone all-in on it.

Because that combination of positions seems to almost universally lead to complete lack of interest in politics. That combination of positions requires believing in hard work and the fact the government won't give you shit, so they're not usually bitching in the bread lines, until things get bad.
