I think for ones as big as her she’s got enough of a core that even after she sinks into obscurity she can coast off of her diehards who have invested too much in her specifically to move on. Or she might be able to leverage it into something else but I can’t think of any other good examples of ethots pulling it off. It is a newer medium, some might pull of like a Kardashian thing idk.

A fool and their money are soon parted. Using sexuality and parasitic relationships to extract money from people is no worse than any other sales technique that exploits those of weak wills. There is an entire section of the psychology of sales that is about exploiting human vulnerabilities to separate people from their hard earned or government given money. At their core streamers/ influencers are in the sales business. Selling their lifestyle and attention in return for attention and money. Japan figured this out and turned the entertainer identity business from a cottage industry into a corporate machine with idols/vtubers. Let the people vote with their wallet, even if they vote in a way you dont like.

The real star of the video were those giant tits and seeing what kind of tight shirt she would have on.

She was a trend setter to all these low effort, female Twitch streamers that provide their viewers with cheap thrills.

I think you’re talking about MeganSpeaks or whatever her name was. Her channel was really run by her boyfriend Brian “LifeInATent“ Martin who would tag spam her videos to get them trending next to popular videos. Brian and his twin brother have a thread on kiwifarms somewhere guy was big lol cow a decade or so back.

and she's right. this ban will get overturned pretty quickly. Shes completely untouchable as far as banning goes because shes too much of a posterchild for twitch and brings in too much money. The only way they will ever ban her is if she does something so flat out illegal they don't have any choice but to ban her permanently to protect themselves and the business as a whole, like posting cp or something on that level. it hasn't happened to any super high profile ones yet like pokimane so i'm curious to see what happens but there's a whole graveyard list of e-thots that no longer matter to the world

I wish somebody would just keep sending her a link from when she was being patronizing towards some YouTube guy because he uploaded some of her fortnite clips in a compilation. Dumb bitch was telling him he shouldn't use other people's content to make money, and then goes on to constantly watch copyrighted shit on her stream.

I mean what do they think is gonna happen? You aren't going to win against the beast that is DMCA. Also Twitch allows watch parties for series and movies they offer through Amazon Prime. Ironically they do have Avatar, but it requires a sub to Paramount+ alongside Prime to participate in the watch party.
