General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Ok, thanks.

I guess as long as Keeki doesn't take a selfie and accidentally have all of their IP addresses in bold text on a computer screen in the background, they'll probably be fine.
To be fair I am impressed its been a year and she hasn't released screenshots of her desktop or her folders containing a ton of info doxxing herself and her gemmates.

Timestamped: @Flamenco makes an unexpected appearance in Pippa's stream and watches her for like twenty full minutes with chat. The shitposting on Jim's streams payed off, I suppose.
They're gonna try and get a collab set-up too. :story:

If you're reading this Flam, then I'd like to say that as one of Pippa's chat janitors, I really hope that everything goes well & that the collab gets to happen because it'd be funny as fuck. And good luck with your Guilty Gear fight against Jim later, too. Godspeed.

That's the guy who called Vshojo out on their bullshit. Seems about as autistic as the average Pippa viewer.

Imagine the smell...
At this point I just imagine her to be the protagonist from Welcome to the NHK.

So this intro has convinced me that Gura DEFINATLY grew up on the coast if she saw enough mermaid purses to think knowing about them is normal.
Never knew mermaid purses were a thing. Guess you learn something new every day.

@Godzilla1984 How do you record ongoing twitch streams, asking for a friend and to embarass a bat who doesnt want people to watch her karaoke streams
Thanks old me:
Fiddling around with OBS.
OBS has a built in browser that I find is way less temperamental as a source than Display Capture or Window Capture.
In terms of video, it won't accidentally capture my browser if I accidentally mouse over to the screen that it is on, which was a problem I encountered with Display Capture.
In terms of audio, it won't pick up random Windows sounds (which I have turned off, but something always finds a way through, thanks Microsoft).
1. Open OBS.
2. Add Source.

3. Select Browser.

4. Create new. Rename it if you want. I don't bother as it is the only source to be used. Click OK.

5. Paste URL. Change default Width and Height from 800 x 600 to 1920 x 1080. Select Control audio via OBS. Click OK.

6. The only thing you have to do for different streams is paste a new URL by going to the properties and change the URL.

7. Right click workspace > Transform > Fit to screen.
View attachment 2531381
8. Click Interact to launch a window to actually interact with the browser. Maximize stream window when live. Remember to set relevant stream quality. Close Interact window.

9. Default audio will record when recording, but you won't hear it. If you want to hear the audio while it is recording go to Audio Mixer > Browser > Settings > Advanced Audio Properties > Audio Monitoring > Select Monitor and Output.

10. Click Start Recording. End recording when stream ends.

Only thing I've changed is that I have multiple sources saved so that I don't have to fiddle with URLs all the time.
Just unlock and make visible then interact as normal.

Also Audio Monitoring > Select Monitor and Output is temperamental and I need to toggle it on and off from time to time to be able to hear it.
