Post videos of people dying - Self explanatory really

Holy fuck. That played out like a cross between Terminator and Poltergeist. And was better than any of their sequels, too. Some of the mishaps look almost bestial, like something big and pissed off lashing out at its human handlers. At 3:11, when those hardhat boiler suit niggas sprint out the room without even bothering to close the door, you know something nasty is coming down the line. O_O

(Not actually seen, but this one is bullshit on the cop's part)

There are innumerable ways to die/get maimed on a rig, probably even more than something like Deadliest Catch-type fishing; which has fewer ways to die, but every one of them will still kill you, (or everyone else on the boat because it sinks). But that cash though....

Back in the day while we were working at the same shop, my roommate came to me with guaranteed jobs in the oilfields. I had a girlfriend that I didn't want to leave (dumb), but he didn't and went and ended up a generator mechanic (we were process techs & forklift drivers at the time). Eight or nine months later he came back with a fat wallet and stories about guys getting killed on other wells in the field. He was servicing generators, so he got to work at a different site almost every day.

I still should've went with him in hindsight.

In the officer's defense, you can hear him say at the beginning that the guy had put the rifle away. He wasn't expecting another barrage of shots fired a few seconds later. So for all he knew, the guy was shooting at him: for being white, for being a cop, and for approaching the house/porch. Considering the neighborhood demographics, it's not unreasonable for a white cop to think he's being shot at.

Also, it's stupid and dangerous to fire a gun into the air, especially in a densely populated area like this. And it's unbelievably stupid to start shooting again, after cops have shown up on your block.

Huh, in this photo he looks like a regular wholesome guy. I feel bad for his kids. I think this may be one of the cases where I’d say this probably wouldn’t have happened in a white neighborhood. Though, if I were a cop in that situation I’d be on edge and ready to shoot too given the environment.

I actually had a similar incident happen to me once when I was younger. Me and a few friends had modified airsoft guns with the orange tips painted over. They looked pretty realistic. Anyways we were out it night using a neighbor’s summerhome yard to shoot each other. We were all decked out in masks and gear, you get the idea. Anyways I guess someone saw us and called the cops because a few hours in the police show up and a female officer pulls her rifles on us and shouts for us to drop our weapons. Now me, I was a smart ass and real full of myself at the time so I didn’t drop my gun and just said something to the effect of “They’re just airsoft” then proceeded to point the airsoft rifle at my friend and shoot him.

Looking back I’m really surprised I didn’t get shot for that. Perks of looking white I guess. Probably helped that it was a female cop.

I'd say this is probably why you didn't get your ass shot.

Yet while in Iraq & Afghanistan, we often weren't technically allowed to return to return fire until rounds were flying at us.

So considering the demographics of the neighborhoods we were in, it wasn't unreasonable to think we were being directly shot at. Yet we were threatened with harsh UCMJ actions if someone greased off-limits mahdis or jihadis conducting the common personal jihad. And the ROE changed often due to the militias & jihadi factions fighting each other. So one month we'd be allowed to go hot on anything in the general direction of roughly incoming fire, but by Ramadan shooting at the same militias or "protesting/celebrating civilians" would be a big no-go.

But we can't expect the same standard or discretion from cops. If anything, it's another example of the magic words "felt my life was in danger" in action.

I wish those magic words had worked downrange, it would've made the job a lot easier (and safer).
Also, it's stupid and dangerous to fire a gun into the air, especially in a densely populated area like this. And it's unbelievably stupid to start shooting again, after cops have shown up on your block.
Unbelievably, people still shoot AKs & ARs without hearing protection, especiallyniggers in/from the hood or rural white trash. He didn't realize the cops were arriving because his hearing/thinking was occluded, and he was focused on reloading (likely while blazed/blitzed).

And of course the only photos & family memories of the dead guy are flattering; but if he had been sober and/or at least wearing foam earplugs, he probably wouldn't have started dumping a second mag.

Houston cop ran over and killed a pedestrian. 0:22 impact and 0:41 body shown.

Runnin' through these hoes like I'm Alek Minassian
Hoppin' in the whip and I'm motherfuckin' crashin' it
Up over the curb like I'm Alek Minassian
Hoes suck my dick while I run over pedestrians

It's especially awkward that the guy tried and failed to jump two different turnstiles, making like 4-5 different failed jumps in total before dying in the last attempt. It's like fate was trying really hard to tell him to give up and walk away before he injured himself, but he couldn't take the hint.
If you watch the video closely, you can see that he lost his cell phone onto the floor on the far side of the turnstiles in his first failed attempt. He was then probably in a panic trying to get to the other side to get it back. The way that his body ended up, it looks like he landed on top of his head and his neck broke at the back, probably C1 or right at the skull.
