What was Phil's stated intention for moving to Washington? I know part of it was taxes but there had to be more to it than that.

Scamming taxes was the main reason. Secondary reason was to isolate Panda from her family. Standard psychological abuser tactic.

I think the real reason was to simultaneously impress/entrap Panda by moving her away from her family and friends.

I also think Phil wanted to get away from his parents. Just like Phil attempts to tightly control the narrative in his stream chat, I think he was hoping to do the same with his parents. By moving across the country he made it impossible for them to get information about him beyond what he texts/tells them on the phone. I am guessing Phil heard one too many lectures after his parents dropped by for a surpise visit and saw another dozen new videogame figurines.

Another curious angle to this is when Phil pigsplained why he could not rent out his former condo he mentioned that his parents were too old and sick to manage the property for him. Why would Phil hastily pack up and move without selling his property and while, in his own words, his parents were getting old and sick? Who moves AWAY from their parents as they get older and sicker? Especially if your job is streaming which you can literally do just about anywhere.
Phil moved to escape the "burden" of his elderly parents and to hide his shameful manchild lifestyle from them.

The lore on that (as I remember it anyway) was he rented it out to his aunt who later died and stopped paying money. He was real quick to go from "my aunt died guys" to "I'm not getting money from her any more"

He was very, very resistant to rent it out again until he eventually emailed a property management company to handle the day to day tenancy stuff for a cut of the rent money. But that nudnik property management company CALLED him instead of emailing him and he never bothered pursuing it further.

It's been covered before but it boils down to where could Piggy live where 1.it didn't snow regularly 2.the heat wasn't unbearable 3.no major natural disasters such as tornadoes or basketball american riots and what do you have left but a burb in the pacific northwest.

Not moving somewhere hot was the most baffling part of his list of requirements. He never leaves the fucking house so it's not like he'd have to melt outside. Not to mention he uses an air conditioner in his office all summer long anyway, and if he lived down south he'd probably have been able to get a place with central air instead of having to use the jank window unit.

Though I guess he probably would have died of heat exhaustion during his "I'm so broke guys, I have to put on a shirt with long sleeves" period if he did live somewhere the temperature gets over 90 regularly.

Everything and everyone exists to serve him, his greed, his pride, and his laziness. He would have sold it but the party didn't contact him in the exact way that fit his schedule. He could have rented the place through a property management company but that would effort and a cut of the profits.

That is the simple reasoning. If a decision or action doesn't serve the him or motivators (greed, pride, laziness) then he doesn't do it. The only change up is which of the motivators he prioritizes. It really is as simple as that.

Yeah of course 2022 Phil would require you to ask him a direct question with money attached to it about PizzaHut, and not seeing a conversation naturally happen in his chat and at least participating in it. That would require having to do some sort of work and benefit for others and that's not what his streams all about I guess, despite giving him an opportunity to talk about himself.

Before he had the luxury of being able to look at his sea of monkeys and lash out to relieve any stress he's experiencing at the time.
