Probably because Waffle House is just a straight ahead Southern-based restaurant chain that doesn't comment on far left politics and woke crap, but concentrates on keeping their diners operating no matter what.

Late and autistic but nobody has pointed out that Consoomer King Kevin is just plain wrong here. The Riddler has in fact appeared in his suit on the big screen at least three times - in the 1966 movie, Batman Forever, and in Lego Batman if that counts.
