#BareShelvesBiden trends on Twitter as Americans deal with empty shelves - The hashtag "BareShelvesBiden" has taken off on Twitter, with Americans nationwide documenting an alarming number of empty shelves in their local grocery stores.

The hashtag "BareShelvesBiden" has taken off on Twitter, with Americans nationwide documenting an alarming number of empty shelves in their local grocery stores. It was #6 on Twitter's trending list at the time of publishing.

#BareShelvesBiden became a leading Twitter trend on Sunday evening as social media users across the country took aim at President Joe Biden and his administration for failing to address the ongoing supply chain crisis.

A large number of photographs posted using the alliterative hashtag show bare shelves in produce, meat, and dairy areas of stores, and paper goods isles that resemble the mass buying of toilet paper at the beginning of the pandemic.

Throughout the hashtag, Twitter users posted videos and photographs of their local supermarkets across numerous grocery chains.

While it's currently unclear what exactly has caused these widespread shortages in stores across the country, some Twitter users have blamed the Biden administration and a supply chain crisis that hasn't been solved for the shortages.

The shortages appear to have touched a large portion of the country, with Twitter users from California, Maryland, Minnesota, and more states sending in their experiences with the popularized hashtag.

Shelves remained unstocked and in a dire state as retail outlets continue to struggle with the shortage of goods, exacerbated by the pandemic and the Biden administration’s continued struggle to remedy the situation.

Korea noodle brands are pretty much always in stock at the grocery store for some reason. Love Korean ramen, so no complaints there. Haven't been able to get my mi goreng offline for two years, sadly. Hate ordering food online, but I need my Indonesian crack.
My local Asian supermarket has that stuff in spades

The place i work has barish shelves. we are not completely bare but have enough to fill out like 45% of the shelving space. Medicine aisle is the hardest hit. Corporate is also cutting hours across the board. We are getting 2 deliveries this week because last weeks was delayed because of a blizzard but still have the same amount of hours so basically its fucked. its all sitting in the back because we cant get it out in the time allowed. I have to run the register and stock the Medicine, School supplies, hair care and seasonal and since we are 1 of 2 grocery stores in town i just dont have the time. Makes me feel like im not doing my own share because my manager's end up having to do it for me once they finish their stocking.

I'm in a major metro near the United States West Coast's major ports, so I may be biased

I've got everything at my markets more or less. Cucumbers/Tomatos/Bell Pepper been a bit spotty on supply. The price of all the stuff is way too much.
The grocery store fresh baked roles are a steal cheaper then the packaged bread.

But holy fuck the price

Went to the grocery store and its getting worse here. Its gone from brands being alternated I.e. having Gatorade but not Powerade to whole product types being unavailable. There were no frozen pizzas at all. Cereal was in short supply, but there were pop tarts. Im on the interstate a lot for work and there has never been more trucks on the road. Ive even been seeing a lot of full on nails did hair did shaniquas driving rigs. This aint no truck driver problem. Not even a warehouse problem. No way would that many empty rigs be on the road. This shit is being diverted. Someone is creating artificial scarcity.

yeah sports drinks seem very noticeably lacking
my neck of the words it's one or two random things, like tonight aldi was out of plain sandwich wraps and green pesto
