But field troon labor is free and you gotta keep those degenerate fucks busy doing something.
Putting field troons on pellet production duty would either
A. End up like Kevin and the Elliptical, that is used for a week and forgotten about because effort is required
Or
B. Because effort is required and Tranchers are lazy they will not produce pellets in suffecient quantities to have an actual impact

Forgive me in advance if I sound stupid/ignorant here, this is just something that's been on my mind.

I don't know how bad their soil is, but why in the world don't they just save up to seed the area with a few different kinds of grasses? Or grift for the seeds? That's the thing that really confuses me- I know seeding a field can get a little pricy, but it's a lot cheaper than spending 2k on hay each month. There's even online stores that premix the best kinds of grasses for alpacas and sort by region/growing zones and bundle it in packages sized off of how many acres you need covered.
It sounds like the easiest way to get the pacas fed- of course, they need to downsize the herd, but any grass is better than the barren wasteland they have now. Plus it'll help with the soil erosion if they have some groundcover.. I just don't understand.

Is this something only the awful cissies do?

The problem is it’s high desert. Grass only grows for a month or so in the spring, it can’t support any grazing.
Yes they should seed it to try to hold down the topsoil but then where would the alpaca roam, and maybe they like living in a barren nuclear winter style hellscape.

Keep in mind, the original plan was for just 5K for his family friend and then whatever they could get off in items for the troons. They only expanded it later to 50k after it picked up steam.....which might (🌈) reach others.
Was it, though? My recollection is that it was a big, ambitious, help the whole tribe deal when first announced, and then as soon as cash started coming in it became clear it was just going to be a bung to Penny’s friend.
Did I miss a stage?

Edit: im retarded and misread his goal was for 5k this month was only set to raise it for that family who are tranch friends. They expanded it.

The fundraiser started at 5k with helping fiscally and the first family who they're getting the pitbull from got 5k. Also incase any Kiwis are searching for the identity of recipient 1 since we had some contenders ITT:

he had stated that his plan was all year to work with the tribe but it is really:
  • Disorganized ,like all things Tranch.
  • HIGHLY non-transparent in that THEY greatly benefit from it as well as their immediate (native) friends and oh right maybe some other people I guess... That's not how mutual aid works...
  • Poorly planned (5k per family for a year but then the gfm says 50k because this jogger can't do math),
  • Likely a giant scam for freebs (this isn't even legally their charity....)
  • Guilt tripping and #tragic circumstances to convince people to donate (before was Earl, this time it's white ma'ams burden)
  • And finally, executed in grift form. The only form they know.

There was grass when they came there, but they have far too many alpacas for the area and soon after it was gone. No amount of seeding is going to work if every seedling is immediately devoured as soon as it comes on the surface. Also, by now, much of the fertile topsoil may have blown away (although arguably it'll have been replaced by alpaca dung).

Theres no way on 2 acres they could make enough feed for 200+ alpaca and 100+ other herbivores (sheep and ducks eat grass too) , even if an entire acre was dedicated to it. They got soil doxed earlier ITT and it was not good.

I'm not giving them free advice since the troons read this thread but there is a solution on how to fix this that could actually help them and cut feed costs. It wouldn't 100% save their shit land, but it would help keep it more fertile and actually growing shit. It would require planning though and they're not great at that.

You should say! I like reading the kiwi knowledge. If it’s good advice the tranchers will do the opposite anyway to show they know better.

maybe other phil is a drug dealer

I’m still suspicious about the vague and slushy money handling and the apparent need to drive all the way to the reservation, so there is always a chance they are running drugs (vital lifesaving prescription painkillers) in that direction.

Either way, Phil’s family didn’t exactly match the single mom painter recipient that was mentioned.

I think he said it was a family friend who was an elderly woman who wasn't on the rez but was Olagla Lakota

That being said, Native Communities do need help. I know of an individual who is 19 was interning with a friend who grew up on the re as a member of the CRIT (colorado river indian tribes) who only got running water when he was 15 years old. Government really fucked them over. So helping out kids and elders on a rez is a noble endeavor.... I just don't trust the Tranch as far as I can throw them (and they are fat and we would NOT have sex with them so we can't throw them very far).

Kevin Gibes Pelletized Universe

There is nothing more White Man than moving to an area, deciding the people who have been living there for decades don't know shit, and falling face down on a giant dick trying to show the locals what's up.

Getting a young steer every year and raising it to slaughter weight would be a better use of land and finances.

Proud tribe that used to roam the lands and hunt the buffalo reduced to taking hand outs from heavily armed mentally ill gay men who rob money from other mentally ill gay men. Makes you wonder if this is their punishment or revenge. Take the money, Lakotians, feed your family. Just don't take your eyes off the troons (no matter how hard it is).

Horrified at the idea of them adding another animal to the tranch.

Love the pride flag hanging there amidst the biblical damage. Almost if YHWH is sending a message...

I ran the numbers back in the summer. I set the herd at 150 since I prefer to be under rather than over when making an estimate, and I only did the math for the Alpaca feed
Out of curiosity I looked at their most recent video on Twitter. It does a brief panning shot across one whole end of the land, and I counted about 50 alpaca at two feeding points. Now as someone pointed out they should at least be keeping the girls and boys separate (they only make ‘em in two kinds), So there could be that many again out of sight.

Heres another pic and the goddamn tarp shed.

Unsure if this has been answered before or not but can Colorado kiwis explain how the tranch can get away with avoiding a legal beatdown for what appears to be a gigantic failure to provide adequate housing for their herd? Or is this one of these cases where they're doing the bare minimum and animal cruelty laws are a joke so if they don't want to protect the alpacas it's their own problem?

Or is this pure rainbows to say that as shitty as that structure looks it's functional?

Asked and answered.

The Tranch is an alpaca rescue (which is how the alpacas get any food at all, via the rescue providing it to the tranch) so as long as they not being openly abused the State is going to pull a 'we don't have the resources to deal with this' blind eye.
