Yeah. Tammy is the Entitlement Queen. But, that's just it, she's not so unaware that she doesn't see how her family is basically moving on (as they should). Like any narcissist, once she's burned through all of the existing relationships, she needs a fresh supply. Honestly, that's probably why they started doing YouTube and why Tammy is willing to be a tourist attraction for fat-thirsty pervs.

You're not the only one. Anytime I see Chris, I cringe. Maybe he's grown up and realized he was a POS, and I guess that apology is between he and Amy, but TLC has a history of celebrating pedophiles and white-washing the past.

My take-away from that episode was Amy's codependence and instigation. Amy has a martyr complex. I loved listening to her sister set her straight with the whole "we've ALL taken care of her". But, watching Amy goad family members into including Tammy (when everyone was having a blast without her) is a little too much like someone inserting drama where it didn't need to be. I don't think Amy knows what to do with herself when she can't complain about Tammy. Such a twisted dynamic. Also, thought it was funny how Amy had to make sure people knew she was blind at the roller coaster. The double take from the operator was priceless.

I got a vibe from this week's episode that the family basically divides themselves into two groups... Tammy and Amy, and all the rest. There was a part where they clearly blamed Amy for Tammy's failures, which is totally unfair. And the other siblings seemed to group together in conversations, leaving Amy and her dolt husband and baby as the odd ones out. Chris's wife seems more connected to the rest of the family than Amy does.

I think she feels guilty at the aspect of Tammy being 'left out'. She knows Tam will throw a shit fit eventually, but she would have personal guilt if she felt relieved Tammy wasn't there.

I think they may subconsciously try to blame Amy because the was/is The Last.™

Amy was the last person to take Tammy in. The last person to be somewhat "responsible" for her. They know if Amy ever really does cut the last tie then it is game over, so they think Amy could "do more" or that she failed somehow, despite them both starting on the same path, opportunities for betterment, and paycheck TLC offered.

All the kids were basically raised the same way, yet Tammy is currently the only non-functioning adult.
