Lolcow KingCobraJFS / Josh Saunders - Amateur musician, YouTube Streamer, wandmaker, and self-proclaimed "sexy goth badboy". Perpetually circling the drain.

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
If Cobes ever did a serious hallucinogen I think he’d have a moment of clarity with ego death and be no more. He’d go in KingCobraJFS and come out the other side as Joshua Saunders. He’d shave his head and beard, throw out his entire wardrobe and get new clothes from winners, delete his YouTube channel, burn his wands, swear off alcohol and tobacco cold turkey and start working on a resume.
He'd need to do something like DMT, shrooms or LSD for that. Datura, well, Cobes would likely experience a sequel to the Erowid classic "A Tale of Nudity, Arrest and Insanity".

Nah. He's retarded enough and is involved enough with the "hippy" kind of burnouts he'd easily believe he was in some kind of alternate dimension or something.

Imagine the crazy story he would make up? His ego is already overblown and he feels the need to exaggerate everything, creating easily see-through stories similar to that of a child. It would be some bullshit about partying with the Devil and how some succubi wanted to nail him, but he used his magic or some shit.

They were indeed simpler times, especially for ol' Cobes.
I’m relatively new to Cobes and was shocked watching his old material in comparison to now. He never looked ‘normal’ but he didn’t look like a homeless addict. His speech patterns were kinda clear, not this scratchy meandering,

He also had a stream last night — sober. He didn’t have cash and the stores were closed by the time some paypig chipped in enough. Part of me wants to just send him a crate of booze and watch the drunken show. Maybe it would stop his White Knighting bullishit for a week or so

There was a point in time where his mental illness was managed with some variation of medication and therapy. Even then, he was still an odd guy but his life was somewhat manageable. He lived at Clint's place, so dietary choices weren't exactly up to him along with a myriad of things. Someone else was controlling his life to the best of their ability and it showed.

What you're seeing now is the consequence of a decade of untreated mental illness, blasting off smokes back to back, progressively worsening alcohol abuse, and a steady diet of Willy Wonka nightmare food recipes. It's a pretty shocking transformation when you flip from this to this.

I think the best thing for him is to live with Clint again. He can’t take care of himself and being with his new drug buddy,Dave, it’s only going to get worst.

People want to punish Clint as much as they want Jawsh to get his life together. LOL
Tbh I like Clint more than most “trolls”. I think he did the most he can but, since josh is an adult, he can’t do anything. People think he can control Josh but, legally, he can’t. I think Clint cares but he’s up against the wall and can’t do anything more. He told Josh before that he would be okay if he came back, but he wouldn’t let Josh drink all day or drugs, so it’s a hard pass. I see people saying Josh need this or that to help him. however, he really needs someone to watch him. The apartment complex he lives in is a shithole. Full of druggies (Dave) and Ex-cons (Ian). Filth will breed filth and, if josh wants to get better, he needs a better environment.

if josh wants to get better, he needs a better environment.
But that's just the thing, he doesn't want better. It's everyone else that wants better for him. He created this little world that he inhabits and is very selective about who he lets stay in his circle. He wants to be around criminals, lowlives, ex-cons (just no chimos). He doesn't want a real job with health insurance, a 401k, or stock options. Most people choose life, he chose the toilet. It is what it is toobz.

Cobes is live and has a fresh bottle of whiskey, looks like drunken rants are on the menu tonight

Yeah, his whole persona is “gothic bad boy”. I just don’t like so see people suffer. I’m not one of those fuckin’ redditors who believes act like they care but not really. I truly for sorry for him. He has issues with drugs, booze, sex (his almost pedo like fixation with kids), and mental health. He wants to be a bad boy for some reason but that will only leave you dead. I don’t like Josh as a person but seeing someone suffering isn’t fun. Also, hanging out with Dave could get him arrested since I’m sure Dave is selling shit. Boglims can’t survive prison. Don’t really want to see cobra going to jail or something due to an old druggie.

I think you are missing the point we keep coming back too. Everyone else wants better for him because he is incapable of understanding the road he is heading down. His inflated ego, borderline helplessness (he can’t hold a job, relationship, or anything requiring a modicum of responsibility), and obvious delusions are not going to end well.

The reason we laugh at this fucker is precisely because he cannot take care of himself and is a walking trainwreck. He does want better though. He has his bullshit ‘dream home’ fantasy — just in case he wins the lottery. We listen to his drunken rants about relationships, which have a patheic White Knight flavour as lectures about treating women better. He has created a fantasy world where he is famous because in real life he is a googly eye weirdo with autism.

It’s like the Truman Show, except everyone is laughing at him when they are not cringing.

Josh said something recently about how he is aware he isn't contributing to society, he is aware his life is shit and the things he does are bad for him. Anybody who has ever had issues with substance abuse, or known somebody who has, you know that it is a cycle, a routine, an addiction. It isn't an easy thing to break that routine, especially when it means figuring out how to live your life without that substance, and when being without it means withdrawal or dope sickness or whatever. I had a problem with liquor for several years, and even before it was a problem, I was aware it was becoming a problem, and then once it was a problem, I knew I needed to stop and I knew that stopping would lead me to a better life but then I convinced myself that I wouldn't be able to quit without even trying, or that I didn't deserve that, or that nothing would change, all of which was obviously untrue but I believed it at the time. I'm not making excuses for Josh, his choices are his, but I also know that it is not an easy thing to change. One of two things happens with people facing addiction, either some event happens that leads you to change, or you succumb to your addiction eventually. For Josh I think it will be the latter, unless he is given some kind of serious intervention. Clint talks about how he can't make josh do this or that, but at the end of the day that retard is your child and he may be an adult, but he's going to die before he hits 40 and he has to consider whether or not he wants that blood on his hands.

His father told him multiple times that he needs help for his alcoholism and he doesn’t care. I don’t know what else Clint can Do.

He does want better though.
I seriously doubt this. Having some stupid unrealistic dream of living in a mansion as a millionaire with a smoking hot of age goth chick is not "wanting better for your life" material. It's just talking out your ass. If he was talking about realistic goals then maybe I would agree with you. But him believing he'll one day win a lottery he hardly ever plays doesn't mean shit. He has no desire to do anything but what we see on video everyday, the end. Why would he?
