I think that if a government espouses "free (read: socialized) health care", the conditions of illnesses should be discarded in favor of treating the person. Once you attach conditions, then it opens the door for giving monetary penalties to other groups.

That being said, I'd love for the Canadian government to tax the obese and smokers. They cost hundreds of millions of dollars every year (treatment for various related issues such as emphysema, diabetes, strokes heart attacks, gangrene, etc.). I mean, why not, right?

Sorry for your loss, man. I've heard of blood clot problems in women who have taken that shot. The JJ shot was paused for a bit because of it.

Infection fatality rate is around 0.003%. It's likely that not a single human being on the planet has actually died FROM Omicron Covid. Even nursing home patients aren't dying or even getting sick. It's a total nothing.

Nonetheless our economy is on the verge of collapse, empty supermarket shelves, hospitals with no staff, people cowering in their homes, wall to wall fear porn in the media, vaxx mandates continuing, I drove down the freeway this evening and it was nearly empty.
