Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

There was a reddit post last month that claimed the call was real but that Ruth Price wasn't actually murdered. Seemed reasonable enough to me, but I don't know. Make of it what you will.

Barely Sociable talked about it a few days ago.. The call was real but the old lady actually fought the kid off. She didn't call 911 which didn't exist at the time (this happened in 1980, 2 years before it was a thing), but the police station themselves. In the newspaper clip she says she had no idea who the guy was or why he did it, and she passed away 14 years later after the incident.

He points out that in his original video they actually found the original Ruth, but people were so fixated on this being 1) a 911 call and 2) a murder from the late 80s/early 90s that they dismissed the possibility that this was the same Ruth who survived the attack and lived to 1994.

A weirdly happy ending to what was an otherwise horrifying call.

How the fuck does someone get broadcast time just for showing Youtube series?
To be fair Youtube is the digital ages equivalent of public access. I mean you could take segments from popular normie youtubers like Vsauce or Tom Scott and repurpose them for TV.

I deadass wish more of these horror and true crime tubers would upload some of their shit on other sites instead of this paywall bullshit.
"Sorry guiz I can't show this story cause big bad YouTube won't let me :(. BUT, if you pay me 5 bucks a month, you can see it uncensored! :D"

Eat shit and pony up, fuckers. You dug this hole by posting anything not G rated on YouTube, don't hold the rest of the video hostage because of that.
If it's something special or exclusive to something like Patreon, I would be alright, but pay walling parts of a video? Fuck off. I'm so tired of this.

I agree with you 100%, in the olden days people would just upload the uncensored video on websites like blip.tv and make a trailer for the video on YouTube itself.

Nowadays you're getting people like "The Internet Investigator" trying to get people to throw a few shekels just to have access to all with her Bing bong sounding voice included paywall content.

What can not one person not rub two brain cells together to create a new platform for horror content creators like I know the risks and problems and know that this isn’t 2012 when people could still compete with YouTube but something’s gotta give
I mean, StoryFire happened but it’s on life support (can anyone cash out blaze yet? LMAO) . The issue is that these new startups pay influencers to post on their site making their funds tank - the best thing they could do is allow anyone to post with moderation then bigger notable people will be drawn to it. Though I’m sure the remaining 30 people who still use StoryFire will screech and disagree with this.

Not a horror channel, but heres a 1 hour documentary on Garfield and existentialism
I loved this video it was very interesting.

Was funny how true the part about Garfield being everywhere with out realising, I was never a fan of Garfield as a kid, but once he showed that image of him and the plush I have reccolection of having Garfield mugs and toys growing up, crazy.
