US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Baris is a hero, though he puts out too much content for me to keep up with beyond election periods. He also gained like 30 pounds between 2020 and now which was weird to see after not watching his stuff for a while. It's insane that people will suck Nate Bronze's dick and fondle Larry Sabato's crystal balls but won't consider the most transparent pollster out there even when they're consistently correct.
I've seen multiple libs reflexively dismiss Baris because his poll is banned by FiveThirtyEight and therefore must involve results that are either completely made up or totally off the mark. Meanwhile they continue to shill polls that were *actually* way off the mark in 2016, 2018, and 2020 (not to mention Virginia and NJ in 2021).

There's a whole subdivision of YouTube political hottakes channels about "election coverage and analysis" from children not old enough to even fucking vote. Most of the time, they just produce a map based on polling from shit pollsters to spread misinformation as far as humanly possible. Some are so exceptional they may get their own thread in due time.

Baris on the other hand has created an entire polling operation after being blacklisted by Nate Silver where he polls based on what his people want on locals, where they fund the Public Polling Project. He regularly interviews candidates like Joe Kent or Anthony Sabanti who are running for Congress in 2022. He even helped lead the charge against fortification in 2020 on the data end. The guy also has 3 kids on top of a business and a weekly podcast.

The man has worked his ass off to stay afloat and yet some retarded child who can't vote can launch a screen recording software with a microphone can pull in a massive pool of other mouthbreathers who also can't vote, and make more money than he will, just because the form factor of his videos are 2 hour podcasts, even though he is one of the most accurate, and atleast the most transparent pollster in the U.S.

Shit sucks.
Who's this "kid" you're talking about?

People will pay a lot of money to be told what they want to hear, not necessarily what the truth is.
I just don't get it. I put maybe $50 combined into his 2020 public polling project because I could see exactly where and how my money was being used, and I knew the information I received in response was as good as possible. I guess there's a certain comfort in hearing what you want to hear, but I don't see how that is meaningful on election night.

This would be actual Liberal Fascism, Jonah Goldberg, who is now showing up on MSNBC.

DOCTOR Jill, since you are probably lurking here, I beg of you to stop trying to have this creepy whisper talk from Joepedo, especially when a day before he's screaming and yelling.
How come they don't block misinformation about bleach and ammonia?

Who's this "kid" you're talking about?
He's referring to Let's Talk Elections. Maryland teenager who had his first sem at Harvard, calls himself a "Larry Hogan Republican," who is one of the 'biggest' election analyst YouTubers who mainly got there through being one of the first to mass produce content for that niche, albeit low quality content where he did things like claim in 2018 that Jeff Flake running as a Dem would beat Trump. He's just a run of the mill neoliberal who believes that election polling is accurate and regurgitates Nate Silver's takes, despite being way off the mark in 2016, 2018, and then in 2020.

It's possible he's also referring to other election analyst youtubers who aren't as big.

It's not violating the 1st Amendment if I beg private companies to do it for me, right?
This is very blatantly their tactic on everything right now and its insane. They can't pass vax mandates so they push private companies to do it, they can't outright ban speech so they push social media platforms to do it. They can't straight up take over means of production so they have California gov put insane restrictions in place that throttle the ports. Totalitarian workaround lifehacks.

You mean the fact that the big cleaning lobby is trying to suppress that mixing bleach and ammonia makes a much better cleaning product at a much lower price than any of them sell and if people knew this it would put them out of business?

well one step closer for the world to vote in usa election.:punished:
Because we are that important.
I don't put any stock in anything the House passes, they have a Dem majority and can pass literally anything they want at this point. They could realistically pass a bill requiring all registered conservatives to be made infertile. What matters at this moment in time is how the Senate votes.

The thing is, does the Supreme Court have the balls to slap down this 'well acksually' bullshit runaround that politicians are getting dangerously addicted to? The Democrats do not realize that powers they give up are hard to get back, especially from corporations that are used to hoarding everything they get jealously.

Reminds me of John McLaughlin (Trump's ex-pollster) telling Trump that all he needed for the coveted "landslide" was a smidge more than he got in 2016.

Given the amount of theft, the fraud wouldn't have made things close; the media would have gotten their Biden blowout.

That would seem to be the ultimate balance that has kept the Mexican Standoff that is "our democracy" going. Even with the election fraud stuff, you have to think there's just as much of a chance for it to work against them in the long run.

They seem to be very shortsighted and stupid though.

Looks like the Desert Dyke has confirmed a hard "no" on nuking the filibuster.
“Eliminating the 60-vote threshold will simply guarantee that we lose a critical tool that we need to safeguard our democracy from threats in the years to come,” Sinema said.

Sinema said she backs the two voter overhaul bills, which the GOP unanimously opposes, but would not change the rules that would ensure they become law.

“Congress was designed to bring together Americans of diverse views representing different interests and as a collective to find compromise and common ground to serve our country as a whole,” Sinema said.
I still don't trust her, and know Razorfist a-logs her, but it's nice to see Dems get cucked by one of their own for a change.
