The reason he invited Peterson onto his show was because of the whole Hugh Mungous thing. Peterson showed clips of Hugh Mongous and later Ethan's dealings with him because he wanted to show the crazy SJW lady as an example of someone who's so committed to their ideology that they become psychologically possessed, hence she blew up at a guy who was making an inane and harmless, albeit juvenile joke. H3 fans sent this clip to Ethan thinking it was funny that his videos were being shown as part of a university course.

Ethan must be an extremely exhausting person to be around. I can imagine him following Hila into every room when they have an argument and just keep talking to prove her he's right.

Even by e-celeb standards he's highly-strung. He's like Fantano in that he thinks he can keep posting his way through the criticism and if he acts aloof enough he'll beat the haters, when in reality it just makes him look neurotic.

Peterson broke his tiny little brain by responding politely and point out the absurdity in a rational manner. Peterson also had the nerve to say the obvious thing Ethan doesn't want to acknowledge: that he's pathetically pandering to the dying BreadTube audience and it's going to backfire because it always does.

I can see the future, because I learned the lesson from the past. Ethan's going to be a sanctimonious cunt and act like he's better than everyone, he's going to brag about how cancel culture doesn't exist but, paradoxically, will also try to frame it as a good thing, he's going to be a shitlib darling for a couple months, but then the purity spiral will catch up with him and he'll say something that causes his new audience to turn on him, and it'll only be worse because they also have a mountain of clips of him saying stuff like "nigger faggot" and making fun of trigger warnings. Then he'll get harassed by massive mobs of the people he threw everything away to pander to, and it'll break his heart that they don't love him anymore, and then he'll slip away into obscurity with his hipster welfare.

Damn those peterson tweets hit home. What happened Ethan? There used to be a time were I though ‘he was just like me’ but it aint 2015 anymore. It aint even 2021 anymore, Ethan is gone. I supported this man since 2013, but that Hasan Piker show was the final straw. I have no respect left for him and I think I simply just dislike everything about him now. I don’t wish ill on anybody (at least I try to) but Peterson is right. Ethan will one day lose everything due to that same crowd (the same people he used to make fun of)
