Let me rephrase, if you are some college/high school kid looking to make money, then minimum wage jobs will probably offer you tons of hours currently. Most of these people are dependents that cannot get benefits. Personally, I am just taking this time to grind out some cash as I got about a semester left till hopefully a paid internship. I like saving money as I want to basically leave home right out of college and get my own place. For me, having a good 15-20 hours is a pretty good prospect when most wagie jobs are below that amount.

I just got really lucky and found a place with no weekend night shifts and no Sunday, so I make good cash and get the nights I want off.

In general, you should avoid minimum wage past college, but as a student with not many other means of income, it could be a good prospect. Plus working them helps craft up a resume for real jobs, which is something I wanted to expand this year.

I feel that most do not care. The people working these jobs are typically young and probably the most sick of this shit given that their high school and college years have been impeded on. More than likely a wagie will just walk over and ask you to put on a mask because the company policy says so, but then walk away and drop the subject.
It is usually the older folks who are much more strict about it.

I think we should also consider that many owners are also forced into the mask shit due to government shut downs. My old boss was fairly Republican, but enforced the masks because a Pizza shop that didn’t would likely run into issues with the law and health codes. While I understand the resistance mindset, sometimes even the owners are not at fault as policy leaves them with their hands tied, especially for restaurants.
