What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

My longest internet crush was Elisa Hansen (Vampire Reviews).
Unfortunately, she just had to choose her toxic clique.

I still wish her and her family well.

Arch Warhammer (or just Arch now).
He went balls deep into politics and internet drama repeatedly. he even made a separate channel meant to separate the political shit from the warhammer stuff, but even then he just wound up neglecting the new channel as he kept getting into political slapfights on his main channel.
Even his lore videos were ultimately infected by his brand of "edgy anti-sjw comedy" aka compare SJWS or whatever "threat to western civilization" to one of the in-lore baddies.
it was just terribly fucking exhausting. and the smugness got overwhelming too.

how the fuck hasn't this been brought up yet?
this motherfucking kamikaze'd every single one of my opinions of these guys
What I think is funny about this is the nigger is basically saying "if some people are ever taken away from their constant right think propaganda, they might engage in WRONG THINK and decide it's better!" He's actively admitting that he wants to engage in indoctrination but is not even willing to consider for a moment that he might be indoctrinated himself. He even outright dismisses the idea that even if all his insane views are true, that there might be some honorable people on the other side of the conflict. Even people on my "extreme" political side don't really think there were many truly evil people on the allied side outside of leadership, and even that is a mixed bag with leaders like Patton.

I stuck around Dead Meat for a while even though he did things that bugged me like really hammering down needlessly on characters that for "muh soggy knees" and shit. There's also his weirdly defensive nature on what he'll count as a kill or not and had essentially gone "Fuck you, it's my channel, I'll do what I want!" like he's talking down a mob. I finally just unsubbed when he made a "A-bloo bloo, this job is just SO HARD" type of videos. Like fucker, you watch movie and then talk over them and get a shit ton more money for it than you should. I hate YouTubers that whine about their "job" being hard and wanting to stop like they're doing something that's actually exhausting.

While I don't unsubscribe for this, this thread is close enough. I will at the least back out of a video I stumble across when the YouTuber goes out of their way to mention how hard life with COVID is, whether it's from last year or 2020. Like they'll talk about it in a video where they talk about video games or anime or some shit and it just comes out of nowhere and has no purpose.

Them just going "Haha, 2020 bad, right guys?" makes me do it too.

I still really like Redlettermedia but there's something about their commentary on the last two years that feels out of character.
I've ranted about JRE before but it astounds me how someone who has a record of puncturing Lithium Ion batteries and bending glass until it shatters, and having spent that kind of money to keep doing it, bloviates about the e-waste issue he contributes to. If you want proof of half assed quality control in phones look up all the articles about the strange defects flagship smartphones have, or how Samsung justifies selling toilet paper saheet screens for $2,500 just because it's "different", and how shitty engineering practices killed the Nexus line for good.
Just about every tech channel has no right to ever talk about environment or consumerism. There's a fine line of obvious shilled reviews to buy new products but especially LinusTechTips goes above and beyond to show just how bad old product is. Nauseating

Despite having issues with Cinemassacre's content for a while, the recent podcast led to me unsubscribing.
RegularCarReviews is a shaky one because his output is milquetoast compared to 5 years ago but i can't hate the guy despite he being a gay furry. That's saying something. Most automotive channels are terrible and though this isn't the thread, watch Savagegeese on youtube.
Rekeita law for the comicsgate/weebwars stuff. This counts just about everyone else who does superchats as it takes the parasocial aspect that can really grow a channel and puts an increasing price tag on that experience.
and plenty others that aren't coming to mind, not even the one i clicked on this thread to comment on.

Although it wasn't one particular video that made me stopped watching Game Show Garbage (which renamed to Game Show Gumbo, since the focus was moving away from showcasing the worst moments in Game Show history, similar to how Wrestlecrap does with Pro Wrestling), the founder of the site coming out as transgender, as well as the original Dumb Answers of the Week correspondent, Jim Williams, passing away, made me lose interest. Although it was also probably because I was losing interest in Game Shows altogether. I watched the 1st Season of the Press Your Luck revival on ABC, but after Elizabeth Banks, who hosts the show, made the dumb comments about the poor reception to the 2019 Charlie's Angels movie that she directed and played in, I didn't bother to watch the 2nd Season of the show.

And given that the site owner wears shirts like this, it's probably time to step away, given how far down the rabbit hole some troons go.

I unsubscribed from total biscuit when I learned that he died and from cryaotic when he addressed weird sexual impropriety allegations that I didn't know about prior to seeing the vid
(wasn't talked about on here as far as I am aware, had to read more about it on a lolcow.farm thread. If I was in his shoes I would've just not addressed them, or waited a year to come back after everyone forgot about them like zero or callmecarson). I don't think I've had to unsubscribe from anyone I consistently watched for political sperging (beside LTT for his insane miscegenation Twitter posts), guess I'm good at preemptively sniffing those sorts of people out.

College Humor. I watched one of their latest shows and boy is it dull. It's no longer a funny clip video; now it's just random shows with the regulars.

There used to be a Original Superhero Animation channel that made a lot of superhero animations. It seems to have completely disappeared, the algorithm doesn't help me and it's likely borrowed in 1000s of superhero kids videos. Anyway, they used to have this sexy female superhero and they remade her into something boring and dull. So I unsubbed. I can't find them anymore so they either disappeared completely or the algorithm swallowed them whoel.

I always kinda preferred Carnage Counts tbh. Even with the weird little lego intros, that channel counted every death in a movie. Offscreen, animals, instances of mass death like explosion and the people in the movie dying as well, obviously. Even after their channel got struck out of existence, they just kept chugging onward with a new one.

I like James for the most part and don't doubt making horror content on youtube is a chore because Youtube actively makes life hard for most content creators who like violence but god damn man, making YT videos ain't THAT hard. Wanna trade for Wal-Mart? Or some other back breaking job where you get paid and treated like shit by management?

Not a video but rather a lack of videos. Shammy used to do alright gaming reviews and is in that MandaloreGaming cycle of people (for better or worse) but it's really obvious that he doesn't have it in him anymore. His release schedule is just shameful at this point for someone who still has his Patreon set to monthly payments and he's probably gonna go full Spoony eventually.

Tweets every day, of course, and has no shortage of excuses on the community tab.

This stuff just really rubs me the wrong way. If you don't have it in you to make regular content, at least set the Patreon to only charge when you release a video, it's an option for a reason. Being part of the whole Vinesauce thing didn't help, but it's not my main reason for having grown to dislike him. And yes, his patrons are suckers, but that doesn't it's charming that he treats them as such.
