Related to Calli's SC and the latest abuse of them she adressed it in the last jump king stream. She will not read all red SC on streams and gift the money to the related people if they shit on through the SC (like she did with the Connor one). I believe there was no clip posted yet

I can see why people dislike Connor. I had no clue who he was until youtube started recommending me vtuber clips with the name Connor in it constantly. I'm not shocked to find out that it's some youtuber trying to force himself into the vtuber environment. This seems to just be another consequence of Calli not managing to separate her vtuber persona from other business.

Ha, I like it. And it's cool that management is letting her put her foot down like this. I can take or leave Connor, but I also feel that no streamer should be obligated to kill the vibe of their stream just because someone dropped big money for them to do so.

Is it really "forcing his way into it" when half the people he streams with regularly were already vtubers, ie ironmouse, projektmelody. Sydsnap became one. Tbh the most consistent vtuber he pals around with by far is ironmouse, he only pops around Calli or the others streams occasionally, and does it less obnoxiously than someone like Nux does where he busts in and starts trying to offer bits or donations to take part in his content vids.

People seem to take sincere offense to his commentary on hololive, which was probably just him being dumb or not knowing better, and take it upon themselves to whiteknight for their oshis without considering that none of the girls seem to give a withering shit about it.

I really don't like him either and think he and some of the others associated with him might bring in more annoying fans and people into the vtuber scene, but I think Calli at least handled the situation decently well (even if just ignoring it entirely would've been better) and I can at least respect her for sticking on her friend's side and not letting some dumbass who used a fucking red superchat to try and totally break the mood of a stream and stir up drama get to her.

She is almost certainly Taiwan Chinese descent not mainland. Half the comments on her Chinese songs are how her pronunciation is so good, she sounds straight off the boat from Taiwan when she speaks Chinese. Or questions in the comments about why in the world does this Taiwanese girl have a Japanese name. Specifically Taiwan, not just she speaks Chinese well.

Kraze actually just resigned from his Phase-Connect mod positions on both YouTube and Discord as of a couple of hours ago today (~1P.M. EST).

I remember I already disliked him before I even knew what VTubers were. The way he acts you would think he smells. I unironically liked Gigguk more than him.
