What is the Wogglebug's sexual orientation?

He really does fall in love with her in my movie actually.
It's clear that the Wogglebug and the Beetle Princess are very much in love. However -- this is just a hypothetical situation -- what if the Wogglebug fell in love with the Beetle Princess but the Beetle Princess didn't fall in love with him? Is there any chance that the Wogglebug would force himself on the Beetle Princess?

In The Woggle-Bug Book, our protagonist appears to regard personal space and private property as entirely optional, especially where ethnic minorities are concened.
He mugs an asian gentleman quite roughly, as well as terrorising a proud woman of color in an attempt to disrobe her:

Fortunately for both hate crime victims, Mr Woggle-Bug's interest is with the fabric of their clothing, rather than anything more carnal. This time.

Later on he gets robbed by an arab, so I guess everything balances out. Then there's bears in soldier uniforms, apparently a transsexual monkey in a badly fitting dress, and what looks like a goat selling popcorn. Presumably you could purchase morphine without a prescription in 1905?

Earlier on in the story Mr Woggle-Bug boasts of having the strength and endurance of two human ditch diggers, but to offset this threat presumably the Beetle Princess would be similarly enhanced when scaled up to human size. Apparently stag beetles could lift six full double decker buses above their heads if they were as big as us, so I don't think she has to worry about being metoo'd. I'd be more concerned that Mr Woggle-Bug's general lack of social grace and manners catches him one of her back-handers which flattens him against the wall.

In my movie to come while the Wogglebug falls in love with the Beetle Princess at first sight she doesn't fall in love with him at once but she does as the movie progresses because he EARNS her love and affection,

he EARNS her love and affection,
That sounds romantic, if somewhat curiously defensive.

I have a film suggestion for you. It's called The Fall and it was made in 2006. It tells the story of a handsome injured stunt man entertaining an imaginative little girl while they are both recovering in hospital. He tells her an epic story of cowboys and indians, but he is unaware that she has unexpectedly broad cultural references and that she is imagining an entirely different setting to the one he is describing. It's only fair to warn you that it gets emotional, but no more so than ET. Stick with it and it has a happy ending.

Lol, Baum's Wogglebug was awesome! Assaulted minorities, treated women as trash and only cared about stealing their dresses, was a complete jerkass to everyone around him and wore a blackface. Truly based.

"Six million weren't enough" - Wogglebug, 1905.

Cynthia, dear, watch and learn. This gentlebug here is pure awesomeness and a true role model for children.

Yeah like you know what it takes to love somebody.

Normally when you write about something you're supposed to write what you know. And unless you've ever been in a situation like that you're going to sound like a poseur. And it's going to be really obvious that you have no experience where that's concerned.

So it's not the Beetle Princess he loves but the dress. My guess is he wants Froggie to wear it when they get married. Or maybe just when they play dress up.
Both Wogglebug and Frogman will wear identical dresses when they get married. They will be such beautiful brides!

If you accepted that you want The Wogglebug to adopt you, you could let him be with Mr. Frog and I believe they could love you equally! How do you feel about Mr. Frog? He seems nice to me. I sometimes think about how they should be together and you won't let them and it almost makes me cry, it makes no sense...
Cherie "Cynthia Hanson" Hapney hates true love, and is consumed by jealousy. That's the only possible explanation. She's the real villain in this story.

:'(

So instead of a child sized childish looking beetle she'll be a giant sized childish looking beetle. Does that mean her head will be huge in comparison to her body as well? You do understand that trying to scale her up / down will result in her looking completely out of place.

Or maybe you don't know this. Yeah, I'm thinking you don't realize this is the case.
She lets the underage pink "beetle" girl grow to fantastic proportions, but not Wogglebug...

*sigh*

He presumably does this by telling her how great and smart he is, then singing a song while the entire world except for his mouth (and maybe a hydrocephalic dancing elf and some flowers having a seizure) is completely still.

Be sure to give me a writing credit when that's the movie.

It's also worth watching simply because it's such a beautiful and stunningly visual film. It seems so surreal and yet the fantastic places filmed exist, they're not CGI.

The Fall is a gem of fantasy cinema, and yes, very visually gorgeous. I didn't see it in @WogglebugLover 's list of favourites, and it would fit right in alongside. Fair warning though: dust may leap up into your eyes at several points while viewing, we really must vaccuum this place better. It gets bleakly dark before its hopeful dawn, and considers both protagonists fair game.

It also highlights a wholesome relationship between an adult man and a little girl, and I'm fairly confident something similar is going to be depicted between Mr Woggle-Bug and his child bride. The alternative may be far, far worse. More entertaining from our perspective, maybe; let's hope she never discoveres pornographic aniblocks.

I like this cow. There's a lack of guile about her wrongheadedness. Has anyone got it out of her yet: "Why Mr Woggle-Bug?" It's one of the most exact and obscure obsessions I've ever seen. If this was an elaborate performance art piece she wouldn't have to alter anything at all. Those tiktok adverts for a mad product that barely exists are easily on par with alantutorial.

The Fall is an absolute feast for the eyes. It's stunning visuals make the movie. The story itself can be a little thin at times but the visuals will keep you riveted. It is masterful cinematography.

Never seen it, but I will make a point of changing that tonight. Looks like a winner for sure.
