Yeah, more easier to punch the unvaccinated instead of the government bureaucrats incompetence as well as the vaccine manufacturers and their botched vaxs done in an hurry.

Edit: Starbucks will stop vaccine mandate.
Okay. This is interesting. I was hanging out at Starbucks on Monday (1/17) and the Starbucks app had a pop up with Covid info and mentioned that "All employees must be vaccinated or test (weekly?)" I was grumpy about that, and have been debating whether it's worth boycotting my local store or writing corporate a letter. Since you posted this, I checked the app again and there's a note saying the pop up was edited yesterday and now it just says they encourage vaccines, will give you time off for them, and that all employees must take their temperature before their shifts. I bet that edit snuck under a lot of people's radar.

Soybucks is the last company I would have picked going against the grain of the progressive doomer narrative.

Maybe they are facing reality and wanting to get the jump on unemployed unvaxxed, because of worker shortage.

Work from home is most certainly a net positive for energy consumption. It’s absolutely ridiculous if companies get credit for having people work remotely.
working from home is still the one good thing about this. my boss is fine with me setting my own hours as long as i get stuff done so i can sit on the couch in my pajamas vaping weed and watching my name is earl on the new oled i bought instead of writing a scraper at 2 pm on weekdays if i feel like it. spending 8 hours a day stuck in an office was always my biggest fear of adulthood so thank christ that changed just in time

Indeed, one Youtuber dropped that comment worth to share.

This is the 1st thing that Starbucks has done that I can support! However, They are not doing this in support of Liberty and our Constitutional Rights, it is simply to alleviate staffing issues that would have a crushing impact on their bottom line!

Nuts about masks? I've still yet to wear one. No one ever asks me to put one on, either. If you go to grocery stores in the more liberal parts of town a lot of people are wearing them, but again I'm never asked to put one on.
That's all I want at this point. Give me the option to wear a muzzle or not (newsflash: I never will) My city still demands the muzzle and papers.

Our health minister (Germany) on TV: "Nobody is going get vaccinated against their will, even a vaccine mandate only leads to people getting vaccinated voluntarily in the end".
Excellent logic.

/edit: This guy, by his own admission, drinks too much wine and does not eat salt at all. That does explain his worsening mental state.

yeah the new mayor of boston who i HOPED would end the mask mandate instead went even further and mandated vaccine passports. haven't been affected by it yet as i haven't been to boston proper in like 2 months but it still sucks dick

I’m starting to see more posted notices on businesses in my neighborhood saying you need proof of vaccination (in Spanish and Portuguese, no English) in order to enter. They’re endorsed by the mayor so I guess a soft vaccine mandate has been quietly enforced. Some places have it, some just tell you to wear a mask.

I remember seeing some places had them up already a few weeks ago but the rot from NYC is starting to spread westward...

However, I went to a Japanese place run by a Peruvian(?) family today after getting home from work that had the vax sign up and they didn’t press the issue. I still think urban Hispanics on the whole are pozzed as fuck and I would never trust them to stop voting blue, but it was nice to not get shooed away from the door for once.

I'm already trying to figure out when I want to take my Covid vacation. May as well milk the cultists for all they're worth, and the vaxxies not working is just the icing on the cake. Judging from the milieu and HR proclamations, the simple words "I tested positive" make you immediately spun from sugar glass. Don't come online you poor dear, just SURVIVE! Fuck me, you mean I can get a paid two week vacation if I just cough like a Dickensian orphan into a microphone? Which beach will I be convalescing at? Er, I mean bedroom. At home. Still sick, I swear.

Just send everyone the guardian article about the heart issue and see what their reaction is

They will just claim its fake news and ignore it completely.

You see, its our favorite ex russian spy said once, you can SHOVE A WHOLE LIBRARY of evidence and they will not believe it.

They will only change their minds when its far too late.
To be completely fair, if you're the unluckiest person alive you could have a confluence of really bad random occurrences (virus gets into a really bad place at high load, your immune system is having a slow day, the stars are in the wrong alignment) and die from Covid at a young age. But that's also true of any other disease in existence; young people can get bone cancer too, but we don't use the near-nonexistent rates of that happening to squeal "YOU NEVER KNOW! WHAT IF IT HAPPENS!?"

Yeah and a meteor could fall out of the sky and kill us all tomorrow, what of it?

If there is something Dont Look Up has taught me that we would somehow find a way to make a meteor coming down on Earth a political issue we will bitch at each other constantly while that giant rock of death grows closer and closer. The movie awsnt particularly good but I cant say that our society isnt at the point of being that suicidal-ly idiotic

*taps mic*

You're ugly and nobody wants to have sex with you

*returns mic to its stand*

Keep being afraid, that way people like her can feel like they are worth something.
Thanks to the idiot jarheads at Camp Hansen and the seasonal flu, it looks like Japan will be going into some modified state of emergency within the next few days. No details yet, but I imagine it'll just be restaurants closing early.

Where I live, everyone seem to be panicking over the fucking cold/flu virus now, acting like its Covid. I would ask how can the average joe at this point just suddenly accept the cold virus represents the same risk as covid, but then I remember the last two to heading to three years and it all becomes clear.

People, when we said that Covid is like the cold, we didnt mean it that way!

Memo to Susan Martin, if you support BLM because BLM, does that mean if you force a black man to be a guinea pig by getting an experimental vaccine (unless I'm wrong Pzifer and Moderna are still experimental), does that mean then BLM don't matter anymore? :story:
