This is the first instance I've seen of people within the school board just starting to wake up to what has happened.
I want to take a moment to lay out to everyone here just how bad its gotten in Canada.
Where I'm located in Saskatchewan, which is one of the most Conservative areas of the country; right now there is a LGBT Alliance within our schools that is able to take children, and the parents are not allowed to know what is being discussed AT ALL. If the parents ask, they will not tell them. And with the recent Conversion Therapy law that passed, THE ONLY THING BY LAW THAT IS ALLOWED IS TO CONFIRM ALTERNATIVE GENDER/SEXUAL IDENTITIES. It is now ILLEGAL to suggest to a child that they might be STRAIGHT or CIS-GENDER, the thing they are statistically most likely to be by a galactic measure. There are sexually explicit books everywhere in the libraries now, and children from all ages are told about puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery.
It's a nightmare.
I came out to my family as gay over a decade ago. I mentioned in passing to my Brother one day that if I had kids I wouldn't let them anywhere near these LGBT groups, and my Brothers eyes lit up.
My Brother has 2 young girls in elementary school. The oldest plays hockey and enjoys playing video games with me when I come to visit. I don't know how it happened, but he told me she some how ended up in the LGBT Alliance at her school and came home saying she thinks she's a boy because she likes video games.
Her parents are not allowed to know what is being discussed AT ALL, the only thing they get to know is what she tells them.
If things get really bad, as the resident gay uncle, I'll do my part to tell her the whole fucking truth about this shit. That it's all lies, the surgeries are a farce, the hormones hardly do anything, the puberty blockers dumb you down, reduce bone mass, increase rates of cancer, the whole thing. I'll show her the surgeries and the end results, everything.
And if she's old enough, I'll light up a joint, pour us a shot of whiskey, and tell her the truth; you're fine just the way you are.
I doubt I'll ever have kids, so I feel protective over those two, when I die I'm leaving all my money to them and their kids if they choose to have them. There's no fucking way in hell I'm going to let these sick fucks do this shit to these kids.
We need to fucking erupt already, and this feels like the first real strike, FINALLY.
All this woman did was read what was in the fucking books, and they couldn't even handle that. They couldn't even let her read what they are teaching the children, because they know it's fucked up beyond all words.

I dunno if it's been posted already, but The Spectator posted on article based on some data for MTF troon prisoners in the UK that show that 60% of them are in prison for sexual offences; and that's only the offences that led to them being currently in prison. It doesn't include any past offences, so the figure may be higher: -
Only 18% of the non-troon prison population were jailed for sexual offences, so either MTF troons commit such offences at MUCH higher rates than normal people, or men are lying about their gender in order to try and get an easier time while locked up, or to try and get transferred to a women's prison.

Just today I read that the Canadian Bar Association wants to put any male who IDs as a woman into women's prisons. No ifs ands or buts. So that is happening in real time. We also have to contend with doctors saying sex does not exist or how 'half of the population has a vagina', as if we are an abstract concept and not humans (ex. 'Mama' Doctor Jones).
It's yet another case of projection. Males, particularly black males, are the ones killing transwomen yet they will only attack women because they know we are too weak to fight back. Well I didn't 'get into makeup' until I was in my 20s, before then I only wore it occasionally (no female siblings in my corner of the family). Never was invited to many sleepovers. Must not be a woman, then.
The Canadian Bar Association has decided - or petitioned at least, it may as well become law - that any male who identifies as a female should be placed in a women's prison. Under no circumstances can they be denied, nor their sex be recorded.
This is an absolute travesty for women.

I've been following that sub for years now, and the purpose has always been to point out the dumb cringy shit that Tumblrinas used to release into the wild, like being otherkin or having 39,283 headmates. The sub doesn't do it anymore, but TiA's 2015 demographics showed that there were some trans people subscribed to the sub. Not sure how much that's changed over the years.
