General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

70+ pages later and I've finally caught up. I'd like my time back please, because nothing of interest was said. I did make a few surprising observations however. Mainly about how hard people are coping when it comes to Pippa (adamantly claiming she's not a lolcow for example, while thinking Kiara is), and how woke/progressive certain people in the thread are. Apparently disliking troon culture is frowned upon here now? The comparisons being made about the thread turning into r/Hololive are pretty apt. Also, the quality of the thread in general has dropped dramatically since @What the shit started posting here regularly.

Isn't that what Calli did? Whining that she doesn't understand why the person got a membership to ask this question. Saying they shouldn't contact her like this and she can only be criticised in private and you shouldn't even contact her in private, you should speak to her manager. Other vtubers have gotten fucked with for less, this guy's intentions could be entirely clean and just trying to stop her getting a backlash but she pretty much tells him to fuck off, not speak to her, is not going to keep this huge gift he gave her, etc.

Gura talked about how she's still doing animal volunteer work in her free time (and that she tends to disconnect from the vtuber stuff on her days off).

Streaming and then fucking off until the next stream is an idea that'd probably help other vtubers.

VTubers have a better image than Twitch whores, hence why they don't receive as much backlash. They have an active company behind them that make sure they don't pull any bullshit that regular Twitch whores do.
