Notice he used an old picture.
What do test scores from third grade hve to do with anything?
He isn’t fooling anyone; we all read that poem.
A recent episode of the show said jazz takes something like 8 pills twice a day for psychiatric reasons. It is an extreme amount and virtually any combination I can think of involving that many psych drugs will make people stupid as hell. several of them have derogatory slang names used by clinicians to describe them ("dope-a-max" for topomax, "morontin" for neurontin, etc). Becoming somewhat slower mentally is often the price people pay to not kill themselves or live in agony. That is jazz's bargain to make, I can completely understand taking that bargain or rejecting it and trying something else. Its a personal choice. But jazz chose zombie drugs, and wants to pretend that his brain is just as fast as it was when he took only one SSRI to regulate mood. Its bullshit.
I also want to point out that, even if we all were to accept this post from jazz at face value, he is saying:
1. doing well at all the things he was forced to do anyway (standardized testing, homework, etc) is an accomplishment
2. he "accomplished" so much because he is inherently smarter than other people
how the fuck is that an accomplishment? He is saying all this shit was easier for him than others and he did it all while in compulsory schooling. If you have some kind of inherent talent and you do nothing with it but take tests and apply to schools, what has been improved in the world? Exactly fucking nothing.
can this dude name ONE thing he has EVER done without having it all arranged for him ahead of time? Can he name one thing he worked on for a month straight? This is why both jazz and amberlynn reid believe they will lose weight "someday". ALR had social workers, and later other fat lesbians, set up literally everything in her life for years. Jazz's mother, cousin debbie, and TLC set up everything for jazz. These fatties both formed the belief that the things they want in life will simply materialize when other people create the circumstances for them. People who behave this way were taught to do so and become inert, passengers in their own lives. I foresee jazz chasing whatever degree his mom tells him to. I have no idea if the mental illness or the compliant attitude will win out.
