I could be wrong, but I don't see a full-on war happening unless something changes. Russia will eventually get what it wants with the Pro-Russian militias if the current status quo is maintained. I think the troop movements within Russia are primarily meant to warn the US and EU that direct interference will mean a full-on war rather than just a proxy war. I think about the only thing which would change this trajectory would be if the US or EU directly involve themselves, or if it looks clear that the US is about to collapse. If the US collapses, then Russia will absolutely invade because it would be foolish to continue a protracted war when you can have a quick one.

I think people are naive to think that Russia wouldn't call NATO's bluff on Ukraine. If they went full on tonto and invaded, I doubt NATO would do a damn thing considering the caliber of our leaders and their proclivity for acts of wanton faggotry.
