All I remember is someone claiming to be isabella janke made some post on kiwifarms, Spooky Bones started talking about it and then it somehow spiraled off into a massive autism storm which apparently lead to spooky's ban

Could someone explain it to me like a 5 year old what happened? I tried wrapping my head around it but there was so much autism it overpowered even my own autism

A lot of this is still going on, on other sites like lolcow or onionfarms/the Burn Book didn't actually disappear from the web, just spooky from Kiwifarms.

Each section of that discord was largely dedicated to doxxing/exploring different people involved in ILJ, people related to ILJ, some people on this forum as well, and then random general or music related sections. It'd be hard to analyze the Burn Books in a cohesive way, because typically it would be "X people in Y's subsection doing things there" who may not have much to do with other subsections/channels or people, and then these people were tangently connected by virtue of shitposting together in some of the more general areas of the server. There is the advantage that unlike praetor, watchmen, or whomever you want, you do actually have discord leaks for this one though.

It wasn't inviting anyone and everyone who had posted in the ILJ thread from what I'm aware of.

Multiple people are exploring the logs, the depth of them are a bit of an undertaking. Part of the biggest problem here, and I'll admit guilt to a degree myself of engaging it, is the hostile state of the Farms. I got here just as it got its worst and admittedly it's dying down now, but I've never seen a community so distrusting of itself. In some cases for good reasons. With the exception of what was used for genuine investigation, the gayer parts of Burn Book is a good example, as is the reason the logs are even public in the first place. But generally speaking this level of distrust is destructive and counter-intuitive to nailing down a/multiple culprits.

My biggest fear is that Spooks muddied the waters. Being an avid cannabis consumer, I have to be honest with myself and be aware that in certain situations it can do more harm than good - Replacing an opioid addiction with cannabis use does not work as well as people would like to believe. Your cannabinoid receptors respond on a whole other level from your opioid receptors, and if you're recovering from an addiction, in high quantities THC can act as a psychogenic catalyst.

The genuine work I saw coming from that was amazing. But I fear it could have been tainted because of this, and the volatility of certain members of BB previously discussed/potentially witnessed within this thread. Side Note: There's an argument taking place on Lolcow right now, well, over the last week really, of Angry Canadian downplaying that Bitter Leaf was him. He even messaged my OF account to try to get that word out:

Given his history of bending the truth it can be easy to disregard this, but AC is also a clout chasing faggot. He likes taking credit for his work, and he has an issue with people trying to mirror it. This much can be observed from his post history and my Discord DM logs with him. So I see very little reason he'd have to lie about this. Then again, it is AC. Just something to keep in mind that there are multiple players here. AC could be lying, or he could be 100% honest in this instance, but because of how many moving parts are involved overall there's really no way to be certain.

I still hope some good can come from all this, and eventually the gay shit stops. But it is the internet, so who knows.

It's such a shame that this turned so fake and gay fast. The most glaring sign was when Spooky started airing grievances with CWCiki editors over the forum instead of straight up talked about it. A lot of it still isn't really answered tbh, like with TAH and potential conflict of interest in editing the site, but meh. On the whole, it took on a life of its own seperate from ILJ and how the subforum diving into there became divisive to some people, I can definitely understand.

There's parts of the subforum that were good and I would have hoped to see survive overall. Content from Bella had largely died down (though I would reiterate, she actually is still active on the web), and it was largely turned into a subforum focusing on post-merge trolls, weens, and other people. That stuff could have belonged to other subforums, frankly. Some of the threads that were significant to CWC did get salvaged, so thats fair. I wouldn't say that she's tainted, insofar as most of the BB members aren't really posting on here anymore, or necessarily keeping up to date tabs on their going ons any longer, and noone else has really stood up to do so.

The inner-forum dramas, on the one hand, did grow too large; but on the other hand, its not just one sided with "Burn Book was seeking out enemies". A lot of it was people with their own schizo theories on burnbook inserting that into the subforum and then arguing with the members, people angry that CDG was getting an audience b/c troon, or other people on here constantly trying to insert themselves into the drama with their own gayops. It's a complex topic anyways, I am happy I tried to avoid that.

This is the part that I'm not in the loop about though, why do people think that Spooky was gayoping? From everything Ive seen, she was pretty open about whatever she was doing. There's definitely drama between different people, but everything is largely pretty straightforward, and the grievances were openly explained if there were some, no?
