US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

No, every single war since the end of WWII has been fought against third world countries and embarrassingly we've actually lost several of those conflicts. We have no non speculative data on how the U.S would fare against actual world superpowers but recent threat analysis and war games suggests we'd either lose to China and Russia or win but suffer so many losses it would cripple the nation.

Tl'dr not good. And this isn't even taking into account that most modern conflicts between superpowers would go nuclear before the land invasion stage even started.
Those weren’t losses in a combat sense though, just nation building. We could’ve continued bombing Vietnam or Afghanistan for eternity, but the issue was a failure to actually have something that could function without us.

You know if you'd actually hang out in this thread more often rather than cherry-pick one or two posts, you'd have realized that not EVERYONE in this thread goes on full blown defense for Trump. There ARE valid things people in here criticize Trump about. Myself included, especially with anything technology related because his boomer-ass still can't get with the program when it comes to websites.
I don't think anyone who opens with a "YOO COOLTEESTS" like someone who posts in the Elder Scrolls thread is worth responding to seriously. A little too mask off too fast.

Yeah. The US Army has consistently flattened any conventional army they faced, up to and including Iraq, usually with minimal casualties. It's what comes after that sucks the military into a never-ending hellscape.

Apologies if this is late, our lolcow president's thread moves fast and I'm a little behind.

Yeah, well, oyher than yhe roads and aqueducts, what did the romans actually do for us?

It baffles me how so many people contain their own little ideological menoryholes right in their own little brains.

You could add a hundred other things he did easily. Made a huge dent in human trafficking, sex trafficking, prison reform, a pile more.
Red Florida, red Ohio, red Iowa. Sure, you can also counter with "We lost Georgia and Arizona," but when RINOs worked to make sure he wouldn't carry those states, it's just silly.

Now, why are we still arguing left and right about Blompf?

You're a cultist if you can easily refute criticisms, and you're a hater if you give the simplest criticisms. I said it yesterday, and while it is contradictory overall, the fact that we can have these discussions just shows the impact and desire. Bush or Obama could never dream of such a push.

Yup, its the line that convinced me they are 100% engaging in bad faith at best, an active troll at worst. So, no more responses here.

I know, I was addressing that specific user or some of the other ones that go full rah-rah. I'm only addressing those people.
You're getting boring and long-winded already.

Even starting to repeat yourself.

Try harder to make a salient point please, preferably with less verbosity.
I've been having to edit posts to not double post because of multiple replies, and I'm repeating myself because if I don't, my words will be cherry picked and I will be quoted out of context. After all, it was already implied I was seething about Trump winning when I already said I voted for him...

I'll make this easy and use one issue as an example. For being such a great conservative, macho, tough talkin' fightin' Trump sure cucked out on guns. With bump stocks, he just rolled right over on that one. But, I guess, since Trump didn't care much for guns, I guess true conservatives realize guns aren't that important, right?

edit: if you're reading this at a later time, they never address any point made about guns or any other thing Trump did and just "social justice snark" their way out of it.

Oh hey, this is finally occurring. Predicted it back in January of last year. Once the Facade slips enough other world leaders will stop pretending he is actually legitimate and worthy of paying attention to.

It's sometimes weird to see Red Florida/Ohio/Iowa being slung around unironically. There was a time when they're considered swing and bellweather states too.

It's all textbook. To mention every post how they totally voted for him? It's weak, basic concern trolling. I am simply not impressed.
Because we did, and because we think he fell short? The fact that the idea that someone would vote for Trump and also be displeased by what he did or deign to criticize him is unreal. He's a fucking politician, quit treating him like a cult leader. Overexaggerated Trump worship is as dumb as TDS. Treat him like any other person, not a mythical hero.

If Biden is as fucked up as we think he is how come his handlers aren't afraid of him stroking out in public?

Or were they hoping for that yesterday?

Also Joe Biden has blue eyes but every public appearance he's made for years his pupils are so blown out he looks like a blackeyed kid

Also Gehenna why are you doxing yourself

The mouse did better than this. This is just absolutely pathetic.
It's just a point I'm making about Trump. You got hyper-defensive and are so self-absorbed in that world you think anyone who offers an opinion of Trump that isn't thunderous applause as being a bad actor or dishonest. This snarky deflection and inability to just politely disagree without getting really bitchy is the same thing woke assholes do when you contradict them politely, and what's sad is you can't see how your behavior resembles theirs. I've got no problem with anyone who voted for Trump, I don't think his presidency was terrible, I think he missed a lot of opportunities. You'd think you could just agree to disagree but, no, apparently that statement is deeply troubling to you.

Yup, and there was no way the South Vietnamese were going to last not just against the North, but against Soviet and Chinese intervention as well.
