That's the thing that's amazing about Penny; he was putting forth effort at one point. He didn't look like a woman, but you could tell he was a terrifying autogynephile, probably from across the room.

There was one in one of @Meiwaku's megaposts a while ago. It is in the style off a ticket, it says Airborne Ranger Recon on top and bottom, and Fiddlers Green Admit One on the sides, IIRC.

Not present: Any sort of shotgun or .22 rifle, no trail guns worth a shit, no basic 9mm or other defensive pistol, no major caliber revolver for use as a working gun. And no battle rifle.

I grew up on ranches, and I'm completely bewildered by their firearm selection. Guns are not the most important thing a ranch can have, but it can be important to have one or two good utility items. Of course, this isn't really a ranch, but they can't even ape what I would expect to see on a functioning ranch.

It's not a ranch gun, though. It can't fire snake shot, nor any real range of loads, and it's not cheap enough for plinking or small game. It's designed to deal with armored people, and there just aren't any to shoot there. Of course, there's damn near nothing to shoot there, other than tranchers and alpacas, but if we pretend this is a real ranch, there will be pests and predators to deal with. A 5.7x28mm is not especially well suited to those tasks.
