Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I know some get cool titles for their ‘kill count’ if a cow an heroes and they contributed to their thread but that’s like blaming an onlooker for a raging inferno because they aren’t a firefighter.
Here's our "kill list":

Chloe Sagal: a troon who immolated "herself" to protest the US mental health system- even saying that "her" thread was not a reason behind the self-immolation.

Julie Terryberry: a batshit crazy woman who killed herself because she was batshit crazy. She likely had no clue about her thread scratch that, she did. Yes, she was an actual woman.

Nia Faye Loy: another troon who offed "herself" for reasons completely unrelated to the site. "Her" buddies blamed us regardless.

Byuu: the latest scalp for our trophy room, if you believe the articles demeaning us. In truth, Byuu is most likely alive, and used us as a way to fake their suicide and start a new life somewhere else.

But hey, why let something as unimportant as "truth" or "evidence" stand in the way of crucifying those damned Kiwis?

Shame that leaker got caught so quickly.

Like I habe said repeatedly, there's a known network within SFWA that coordinates messaging blasts and harassment targets... exposing its full extent and methodology would cut off SFWA at the knees.

Entirely theoretically, you need a SFWA membership to have access to these chats, right?

I have one. If I can access it without outting myself...

You have no idea how much I want EVERYONE to have a peek behind the curtain and see how pathetic these assholes really are.

Oh my god they're really going after SFWA? This is even more exciting than Pat losing the second lawsuit... especially given the relatively little they've done already has the organization in panic mode.

Needless to say, I know we have some mutual members... if the folks at OnA want or need any info or intel from inside the beast? I will help where I can.

Honestly it would probably be much much easier to target thier organizational 501c3 status.

I don't know if he fucks kids, but he certainly fucks spec fiction over as much as possible. Unless you're in SFWA upper leadership, or one of the "lucky" few he deems acceptable, nearly every author, editor and non-Tor publisher has a half dozen horror stories about John Scalzi.

Aside from NK Jemison, he's probably the biggest bully in spec fiction. Loony lefty, one of the key ringleaders in everything from spearheading efforts to smear right wing authors like Larry Correia and Jim Butcher to helping mentor or uplift much of the current crop of maniacs running SFWA.

Oh, and he's an utter hack as an author. Old Man's War is a less competent riff on The Forever War, Redshirts makes Ready Player One look deep, and he's been caught essentially taking successful books by midlist indie authors and rewriting them... Jason Cordova and Eric S. Brown are ready to go to war over his next book ripping off thier Kaiju series.

Somehow Tor gave him a multimillion dollar advance despite his last book barely selling 10k copies.

Like Jemison, he's the rare SFWA insider who has managed to get connections outside the organization... so taking him down a peg or five would be a MASSIVE blow to SFWA.

Give them hell you magnificent bastards.
Well, that's all a huge bummer. Serves me right for asking, but hey, in for a penny in for a pound. Here is a list of authors I've been enjoying lately. Let's see if you have stories that will sour me on them too.

Tom Holt aka KJ Parker, author of The Engineer Trilogy, Prosper's Demon, and 16 Ways to Defend a Walled City. One of my favs, so losing him might actually hurt.

Mike Resnick, Starship Mutiny

China Mieville, Un Lun Dun is my favorite so far even if it's his younger reader book. It was so fun.

Jesse Bullington, The Enterprise of Death, The Sad Tale of the Brothers Grossbart

Christopher Moore

Martha Wells, Murderbot Diaries. No doubt a hardcore lefty, but damn if Murderbot isn't excellent

Adrian Tchaikovsky, Shadows of the Apt, Made Things, Spiderlight

A Lee Martinez, Emperor Mollusk VS the Sinister Brain

Matt Ruff, Sewer, Gas, and Electric

She actually posted in her thread a few times, being the only one of our so-called "kill list" who isn't either alive or had ever even substantially interacted with the site.

Pat is apparently having fun at the convention:

Meanwhile, the trolling of the convention hastag continues...

The organizers of ConFusionMI thought it would be a sweet idea to have a community message board that anyone can write on:

Yes, you're all aware of what I'm about to post next. The OnA virus is spreading...

The trolling on twitter continues. I wonder what John Scalzi thinks about being included in on tweets like this one?

Edit: There's apparently been a Pat sighting. He's sitting at the bar in this picture (surprise surprise...)

Update: the Josiah tapes are amazing. It's a bit of a time investment to get through the whole thing, but it takes you through to almost feeling for sorry for Fatrick, unknowingly emanating hopelessness and defeat while trying to project bravado to one of the very trolls who brought him to that state, and seemingly not noticing whenever the troll just about lets out a laugh. Then after the reveal, his fake voice, posturing and behaviour snatch away all of the sympathy in a single moment and you think "never mind, I get why they keep doing it"

@Oliver Onions also made a Eurythmics feat. Fatrick musical remix. Hopefully he or someone who has it can post it because it's fucking hilarious.
I like his fey mannerisms and lisping voice when he's portraying himself as Mr. Badass. The contrast is hilarious. It's like Snagglepuss trying to sound menacing.

I don't have much to say, but one of the things I see with Lolcows is that they'll constantly parrot things that have been said to them in the past. Granted, I think that's a human behavior. I find myself speaking more and more like my father as days pass, but the thing with Lolcows is they'll repeat VERBATIM what has been said to them with absolutely no change whatsoever. This is especially prevalent with Chris. Chris obviously just says things that his parents said to him as a child, with no adaptation or situational input.

Patrick, I believe, is the same way. While I was listening to the MATI stream, all I could think was "This is how a parent talks to a toddler", "this is how a teacher scolds a misbehaving student". But not in a specific, 'these two scenarios are similar sort of way', but in a 'this guy cannot physically come up with anything original sort of way'. When he says "no child, you are not saying anything because you have nothing to say at all", that is not a response to someone who is criticizing you and calling out your bad behavior, that is your response to a child denying drawing on the way with markers in hand.

It's ironic, this man who writes science fiction has no capacity for original thought. Can he come up with an argument? Can he persuade people with his views? I would say no. He says the same exact thing to everyone because he doesn't know how to change his language/structure based on the situation. Everything he says is built upon things that were said to him as a young child. What is his Science Fiction like? Without reading it I have to imagine it's the most generic shit ever written. Is there any nuance? Does the world feel lived in and the characters, on both sides, feel like they have motivations for why they exist?

I remember reading a while ago, that sub 100 IQ individuals do not have the capacity to write a story where two characters refer to two other characters who have their own independent lives/stories, in which they refer to two other characters who have their own lives/stories. Or essentially a character referring to three degree of separation. If he can write such a story, or anyone can point to an existing peace of writing where he uses three degrees of separation, I will concede he is not a moron.

In the meantime it is my professional opinion that he is a highly stunted, socially maladjusted sociopath

I suspect there is a very dark closet skeleton in fat Rick's past considering that he thinks a fat middle aged man continually lisping about children is the most intimidating persona he could possibly put on

If you really want to know what his books are like at some point in this thread @ShinyStar tortured themselves and reviewed one of his books. There was also someone else who did some reviews as well, but unfortunately their name escapes me atm.

I would let someone else report back on that. Having read astonishingly bad sci fi, there is a reason the genre is looked down upon by the entire rest of literature

I don't think Fatrick is an interesting enough person to have skeletons in his closet. He's just so out of touch with other humans that he has no clue how to interact with them.

Here from the MATI stream and wanted to say I can't remember the last time I've had such a visceral reaction to a person and/or their voice. It's been a while. The usage of "child"? My God. Never heard of him before now but I don't think I have the mental capacity or fortitude to do so. I had to turn the volume down several times during the stream because I couldn't stand it any longer.

Very definition of insufferable.
