US Truck carrying 100 monkeys crashes in Pa., and now some are missing: Police

A truck carrying about 100 monkeys was involved in a crash Friday in Pennsylvania, state police said as authorities searched for at least three of the monkeys that appeared to have escaped the vehicle.

The truck carrying the animals crashed with a dump truck in the afternoon in Montour County, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Andrea Pelachick told the Daily Item.

The truck had been on its way to a lab, Pelachick said.

Authorities have asked residents who might see the monkeys to call state police at 570-524-2662.

It was unclear if any people or animals were injured in the crash.

Person who counted every crime in US and made a book about it titled "How to Become a Federal Criminal: An Illustrated Handbook for the Aspiring Offender" says "7 USC §2149(d) & 9 CFR §3.87 make it a federal crime for a monkey dealer to transport monkeys unless the monkeys are at all times securely contained within their enclosures."

So. This is how it ends.

They never gotrid of the Herpes monkeys in florida, those fuckers inbred like crazy and news abut thats kinda slowed with the corona shit so I gotta wonder. Were these test monkeys with strains of diseases fatal to humans like those escaped monkeys were, or are they just normal ass monkeys that will end up inbred and fucked u due to the inbreeding?

Also jesus fuck Pennsylvania? shiiiit. Doesn't say where though, sadly. Guess they don't want us to know where to encounter the apes.

Godspeed little dudes
I genuinely pray they haven't been infected with experimental diseases like the other lab monkeys, they deserve their freedom if it's escaping a fate like that, or worse, the fucking sandfly chamber.

I'm unsure if I like this gritty reboot of Ape Escape.

This is our karmic fate thanks to APE ESCAPE 4 silently being cancelled before the studio developing it was shut down by SONY after they hinted at it coming out for a good 5 fucking years or so, and APE ESCAPE 3 never being able to be legally released again because of SONY and Konami being fucking bitches with rights handling, as WELL as the only legally available ape escape game being the fucking vastly inferior PAL dub of Ape escape 2 on Sony's PS4/5 store despite all the achievements being for the NTSC dub.

The shit with Million monkeys never coming out globally probably caused a butterfly affect when that was cancelled back on the PS2 as well but thats another story tied to completely different monkey escapes.

The crash was on I-80 in Danville about 3 hours north of Philly, not to far from Scranton. Honestly the poor escaped bastards will probably freeze to death before the night is over, it's in the single digits up there right now.

Hoping they survive and reap their vengance tbh
