Why can't they just fix the damn audio? Are they too cheap? No matter how hard they try to push it, loudness does not equal funniness. Also, isn't them saying black people are loud make them racist themselves?
Now it's a catch 22 situation. If they don't fix it, more fans bitch about the bad audio and just leave. If they do fix it, that retroactively means the "racists" were correct that the audio balancing was fucking dogshit and the token hire needed to have her audio levels brought down to match everyone else.

God rewatching old AH content feels so nostalgic. I remember very clearly my first videos being Galacticraft, and rewatching them always feels "different" to me, their voices and chemistry feels more solid compared to other videos.
This half chubby Ryan wearing glasses and fixing a Minecraft server, little did everyone know he was a sick fuck.

Oh they knew, or at least suspected. Remember that the running joke with Ryan was that he was a creepy serial killer, they even called him "The Strangler" in one of their Let's Plays.

I was watching their old Skate 3 video. Good times, man.

Remember Geoff's House? Monotony in concept, but some of the funniest episodes throughout the tenure. Nothing beats Michael's reaction to Pubert Addams.

Those episodes felt like the exact concept the podcast should have been about. Boring background visuals, but everyone just kind of meandering through topics. Instead, they decided to build the podcast around a planned list of topics to meander through until Lindsay or Trevor start a boring tangent or suck the diversity hire's ass.

I get having topics to hit before going off the rails, but I guess RT just had to fuck that up.

Now that we’re talking old LP fun stuff, Ray losing his shit at Gavin for team killing him in Rainbow Six will always be hilarious to me.

Also that one insult in a different video that got bleeped out and the the explanation of the joke(because Gavin didn’t get it) bleeped for like 5 seconds that made Micheal and Geoff lose their shit.
this video really needed one or two loud obnoxious black women talking over everyone and not understanding how the game works/what's happening, honestly.

It's the chemistry that makes the content when it comes to group let's play type channels like AH and FH. The moment the chemistry and the fun takes a backseat to the business end of things is when the decline starts. People get replaced, the chemistry goes, everything starts to feel forced, but they get stuck in a loop of trying to recapture what once was.

Channels like these should rebrand and start anew once enough replacements happen that it's no longer the classic ensemble. You can keep calling it Achievement Hunter or Funhaus, but it's not.

Honestly all of their best minecraft and GTA let's plays were just them playing the game. "Here's your goal, go explore the world and figure it out."

Honestly if they went back to some of those old ideas like the Petting Zoos, the Hit List, the builds, etc. but started with a new seed each time that could be quality content. The big issue though is that they couldn't at this point since the chemistry is gone. My favorite moments and episodes were the episodes where they talked and the moments where they had a good rapport going and just shot the shit, the new crew doesn't have that chemistry. It's kinda like how people didn't watch Top Gear for the cars.

EDIT: Honestly they should have done what the Super Best Friends did and just bow out with dignity.

Someone does, yeah, but they're having some sort of issues with the download and they're working on fixing it. I don't remember if they had the whole House Party series, but they had a good chunk of them.
I hope they can fix it, that series was fun. But AH probably won't go back to it because it's "problematic to have sex as a reward in a game" or some shit.

A bunch of idiots intentionally injuring themselves in a game, and it's way better than the current stock.

No Let's Play presenter or cast gets by on gameplay unless they're one of those rare people who are at the very top, people like world record speedrunners or top of the chart competitive players, Let's Play lives or dies based on your personality and chemistry.

So basically what you're saying is that we've solved the Ship of Theseus paradox, at least when it comes to group internet video content.

Funhaus ended up removing their playthrough of House Party during the purging phase two years ago.

I still have suspicion to believe that Ryan and Meg definitely had sex during one of their tours. Like, come on.

I'm gonna go and rewatch that, I've rewatch the Hunt for Horses and it was so good. Monopoly is also a great one.

Pretty much all of their "here is goal go accomplish goal" Minecraft LPs prior to Ray leaving were pretty good honestly. The ones that aren't very rewatchable are the ones where it's a regimented contest like Wipeout, Clouds, or similar. The King [x] videos are the exception to that although I cannot adequately express my joy that they never did a King Jack.

As with ALL female RT staff and spouses I'd be more surprised to find out there was a guy she didn't fuck.

These are the results for King Jack. Even the fucking previews are so... painful to look at. WHY WOULD YOU PUT EYES ON MINECRAFT SKINS
