Even worse, Turing was forced to take cross-sex hormones to “treat” homosexuality (it was either that, or jail). The hormone therapy eventually drove him to suicide. Solid evidence that cross sex hormone therapy causes suicide instead of preventing it.

It's almost like a mental card trick. They are taking all these people who's entire presentation of gender was all about resisting labels and conformity, and claiming that instead they would have been super into labels. Like Cobain would have had nervous breakdowns from the wrong pronouns. People think supporting the trans community is supporting that type of idea, a "who gives a shit, all of this is superficial" attitude which resonates with a lot of people, and instead are supporting people who's only concern is the superficial label.

I actually think the transracial thing is a bigger timebomb that the trans movement realizes. So far they've pushed it off by claiming the examples that exist (it's more than just Dolezal, there was of course Krug, but also H. G. Carrillo, who claimed to be Afro-Cuban and wrote a whole biography of coming to the US, who turned out to be just a black guy from Detroit) are just feeding into "stereotypes", not like trans woman and their "authentic" experience of gender. But there's really no part of trans logic that makes transracialism make less sense. And there's already been people asking "well if they really feel it inside, why shouldn't we respect it?". If gender dysphoria, why not racial dysphoria? The only reason people feel differently about it is because sex is at least a binary, so you can conceive of potential biological origins of having a switch flipped the wrong way more easily than you can imagine someone having a different race on the inside. But if they keep pushing this non-binary xenogender bullshit, that goes out the window too.

That's why there's such a tension in the trans community over looking for biological sources. Identifying a neuroanatomical source means medicalization and gatekeeping, it creates criteria that can be used to push back and resist the pure self-identification trans people want. But without some sort of marker in physical reality, being trans is the same as being otherkin (it is the same, but they don't want to admit it).

The corporations pander because if an executive doesn't have a "diversity and inclusion" bullet point on their resume, they rank lower than other executives when they job hop. It's comically superficial, these people don't actually care. They do what a paid diversity consultant tells them to do. If it looks like they use the same language - "Dance like no one's watching", etc. it's because they're paying the same people.

Women really can't understand the violent impulse most men have when they get heated. My GF refused to believe it (she's a skeptic), did a lot of her own reading, and finally came around. Women fear being killed by men, and men fear being killed my men. Women usually don't rank as a threat at all.

So this is going to be old hat to many of you I'm sure, but reading this article led me to the story of Synthia China Blast, who is in prison for raping and murdering a 13 year old girl. I found a Jezebel article portraying Blast is a very positive light, and was struck by this:

The "never convicted" link does not show that Synthia was not convicted of rape. It links to a dismissed mistrial motion. I can't find anything anywhere saying he wasn't convicted of rape. So that's just a straight up lie in the text there, banking on people not reading the content of the links they provide as proof. It also seems like this dude was a gang member and rolling with gangs early. He says he felt like a girl on the inside, but what evidence is there of him being trans in any way prior to incarceration at 16? Nothing anywhere states that he was anything other than a typical masculine male at any point other than years later in prison.

The Jezebel article and the SRLP page all couch their language in talk about poverty and systemic violence, but don't mention the crime at all. It's really fucking sickening to see the way people are going to bat for this dude. He isn't some gangbanger who killed someone accidentally in a drug trade, something you can argue emerges out of systemic forces. This was deliberate deviant behavior of a psychopath. There's no way they would accept any of these arguments if he didn't choose to identify as trans afterwards.

I never read Jezebel, but I saw people quote it all the time. I didn't realize it was such trash and so hypocritical.
