Agreed on both counts. Previously, that was the policy with threads like the Brianna Wu/John Flynt thread, which is why the current thread is actually the third, but Null stopped that after realizing it messed with SEO and the new threads had considerably lower pagerank. Considering how some cow threads are almost as big as the old Biden thread, if not bigger, it might be something that needs to be revisited in the future, but that's on his end.

Sperg threads like those in A&N, however, should be fine to set that as a policy since they're not visible to guests anyway.
