All they had to do was just say "Thread is too big, it's screwing stuff up, create another". Not this Something Awful style modding bullshit of secrets. Just cap the thread at a limit, tell everyone, and go from there.

Hell, tell them early, let someone publically lay claim to making the new one, have it on hand for the lock, everyone neatly goes over to it.

Done, and saves the mods a ton of work and hassel.

Hard agree. Shit. I don't do that chans* anymore, but they always managed to do it.

*except an occasional looksie at the schizosphere that is /pol/ when shits goin down, but that don't count, right? nahhh

I don't know if he ever said it directly to someone, but he would call people "dumb son of a bitch" in his stories for sure.

Also, if Trump apologized for this he would have been like "I'm sorry that you're a dumb son of a bitch"

The wording itself of the post seemed like asking for a trainwreck too.
