I have been pointing at the television screen and laughing at the talking heads and politicians for just as long if not longer than many have been pointing and laughing at deathfats and failed let's players on twitter.

I grew up watching my grandfather yell at the people on the TV news. My grandmother would shout at him to calm down "They can't hear you, they'll never hear you!". 30 years later and now they can hear us, and they are incapable of listening.
