Tarantulas do get eaten in some traditional Latin American cultures. It would not be the apex predator in that environment and no matter Alyssa's feeding practices, I bet gordo gets hungrier.

I agree. She shouldn't have any pets at all. She's pretending to "rescue" them, and acting like she is their only option for safety. They're either from the store, or another junkie got bored of them and there was some sort of trade. Except the fucked up "support" dog her mom probably bought her but she's over that larp more or less.

One of the many, many reasons she can't make rent is the critters. Putting aside money for rent is the absolute bottom of her priority list.
Any cash that goes into that household is immediately spent then ruh-roh rent is due in five days - Panic! Unforseen crisis imminent! Rinse and repeat.

I'm still convinced that mom bails her out for rent most months, issues a 'this is absolutely the last time for super srs' warning and then cracks or is self harm/suicide baited by her delightful daughter.

It seems the account TheKindKinkster doesnt post very much, as the last reply there was on Jan 13, but the account KindKinkster does get a lot of replies. Not much of interest but this one did catch my attention. Wonder if it means twitch streaming or just regular camwhoring.

Based on that second tweet it sounds like it wasn’t the dog. I’m starting to get MATI at the rats dying. Rats are sweet, smart little critters that make great pets and are easy to take care of. They don’t deserve owners like Kindness. (:_(

That tweet actually made me think it might be the dog and it's sick/old and maybe dying and that troid was telling Alyssa to put the phone down and just be with her pet.

To be fair that's a reasonable interpretation od what's being said, but I think it's the rat that's not doing well. It seems as though Alyssa got a Pitbull puppy (why) just before this incident occured, and I don't think it could've died so quickly.

Those rats likely spent most of their days locked in a cage being neglected by Kindness. It's sad because they deserved a better life -- but hopefully they're scampering around heaven eating cheese out of baby Jesus's hand or something. Those poor creatures. And I don't even really like rats. I can't imagine calling yourself an animal lover and a rescue operation and then treating them like they are upcoming specimens being housed for the next scientific experiment.

Aren't she and Boner too broke to afford groceries? Why would they take on another mouth to feed? Finding pet food at food banks can be challenging. Some of them have it, but people don't often donate pet food because they don't think about the need for it.

Are they super paranoid that someone is after them? Locking down socials. Getting a pit bull puppy. All those drugs are messing with their head. Unless my fantasy about them being threatened by the dog owner drug dealers after they helped themselves at that housesitting gig is true. If that is the case, 🤣
