One good thing is that China doesn't force everyone to watch world war movies and beat us over the head about how much of a victim china is and how bad the holo- I mean nanjing massacre was (looking at you joos)

I think Japan would do that shit again today if they thought they could get away with it. Drag some of those fat Jap NEETS out of their hentai capsules and hand em a samurai sword and they'd probably fall into the swing of things pretty quickly.

I'm not too fond of the Japs of this era but I do think it's crazy that the Chinese as a whole are still so seething about this, that at one point during my retailfag years I had a random Chinese customer who I talked to, and for some reason some storm that was about to hit Japan came up. "Good I hope it kill every one of those damn invadahs"
He was old enough that his parents probably saw that shit firsthand too.

Just looking at Chinese History and Modern China shows the hubris on their humiliation almost a similar vain to Imperial Russia (refusal to modernize until too late, no sense of control over empire, few trade options/isolation, etc.) so in a way they deserve it. obligatory:

Chinese history is so funny once you get to the Qing dynasty and beyond. It's basically the British pumping in drugs and the rest of the west/Japan taking turns on which one of them wants to have their way with China. I'm pretty sure they didn't win a single war during the whole second half of that dynasty.
