Something I just realized is that if @Null hadn't filed the motion to quash, this could've possibly gotten dragged out even longer.

Going back to the really first hearing, Brinton said he had IP addresses from the funeral home which in the 2nd hearing the judge granted a motion to authorize discovery for until the motion to quash was filed which he then said he decided not to sign of on the motion until both parties had a chance to speak. He never seemed to sign off on the motion after this happened or even brought it up again.
