r/antiwork - Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

How will society function without jobs?

I can’t believe they sent in a tranny janny to do this interview. He let the host go off topic and fell into his trap by making their “movement” look a whole lot worse in the process. I’ve perused the antiwork Reddit a few times but only to find tips on what red flags to avoid when applying for jobs etc. I would still work 40 hours a week tho just saying.

Thanks for pulling up even more stuff.
The address is in Manchester, New Hampshire and I have found out that he has moved to Boston since. Could you add the city and state and a "(as of 2021)".
I did some more digging. Nick Ford had his name changed to Doreen Ford. Doreen Ford isn't just an alias, it's his/her legal name now.
it looks like that person has moved out of New Hampshire, so the data on the CV is most likely outdated or just a mailing address.

Doreen Ford is listed as a current master student at the philosophy department of Boston College, which means that he/she has since graduated from the University of New Hampshire Manchester.

I think now that we have different names, email address and so on, they should be categorized and displayed on the front page.
Also, you've got the link to the BC site already in your sources, you can also add his current student email: forddj@bc.edu.
But I gotta say again, great work. Not only is everything compiled now, you added a lot of hard to find shit. Take my "winner" medal dude :winner:

Trying to find a source for this. If this is true, it makes this even more pathetic.

EDIT: Went through various reddit posts on the interview and couldnt find a source, this reddit user claims it a few times but every time someone asks for a source it gets ignored. I see people also claiming Doreen lives with his parents, so its very possible.

Alright, added👍

Hm, there's an address attached to his name in Worcester, which is close to Boston. Not sure if that's the right address though, it says it's an old address (but background checkers can fuck up sometimes, it might be a current address):

78 Brigham Rd, Worcester, MA 01609-1006

I wonder if he officially changed his name or not. If so, looking up his old name might only lead to outdated info. But AFAIK his name is still officially Nicholas J. Ford.

Someone needs to tell him/her/xir/it that mods already do this. On a post about cops being working class I got banned for "rule 4: pro cop material" which is the advocating fascism rule.

Antiwork is a joke. I sympathized with the content but this has been a real eye opener that its not being subjected to an effort by opportunistic tankies and antifa to radicalize people; it was always a tankie sub predating recent mass-resignation shit that got really lucky that recent times have been pushing people towards them, and they're taking advantage of it.

What they don't realize is that they're exceptionally gullible, not the norm, and not everyone is NPC enough to completely drink the kool-aid just because they package extremist ideology with an easy-to-swallow coating of basic goodwill

Boom. There it is.

I was waiting for the moment some divisive figurehead would appear and tank the movement. Now any speaking out against mods is gonna be twansphobia, and any inroads made with right of center workers are burned because of idpol.

Useful idiots

I wish I didn't know how right that is. In my field I see papers by people who shouldn't even be allowed within a hundred feet of a university being published in major journals. If I see the phrase "black bodies" used one more time in a paper that isn't about the physics of light I'll blow my top.
I’ve contemplated doing some kind of video series about this because there’s so many fucking absurd academic papers out there. I think regular people would be shocked. I’m reminded of this classic article about academia in the humanities & social sciences:
What you have is rather like birds on the Galapagos islands -- an isolated population with unique selective pressures resulting in evolutionary divergence from the mainland population. There's no reason you should be able to understand what these academics are saying because, for several generations, comprehensibility to outsiders has not been one of the selective criteria to which they've been subjected. What's more, it's not particularly important that they even be terribly comprehensible to each other, since the quality of academic work, particularly in the humanities, is judged primarily on the basis of politics and cleverness
Keep in mind that this article was composed in 1993 lmao, it’s only gotten worse since and it will continue to get worse from here (barring some drastic change).

With respect to r/antiwork itself, I’m convinced that all of their commie ideological bullshit is just a pretense. The crux of the issue is that they don’t like doing stuff. I get it, I’m not a big fan of doing stuff either. But the obligation to do stuff isn’t a consequence of capitalism, it’s a consequence of life itself.

Always a good sign when your representative gets hit with the most obvious questions imaginable to calling yourself "anti-work" and can't respond without digressing into fifty paragraphs of word salad.
>be tranny janny
>complain about work being underpaid
>mod reddit 24/7 instead
>do it for free

Alright, added👍

Ah, ok, then even better. Then we have the current address but not the Manchester, NH one. Thanks dude. Yeah, if it's a Massachusetts address, it's either the one he had before moving to New Hampshire or his current one. And I'd bet it's the current one, since it's on the 2021 CV.
We know that he went to high school in Woburn, Massachusetts (which still has a "Nick Ford" living there, who is NOT the reddit guy, but an Iraq vet who's a few years older than our friend), then moved to New Hampshire for college, lived in Manchester, NH until 2021 and then moved back to Massachusetts.

Not saying he did anything remotely resembling passable, but it’s not like the other antiwork fags would be able to do any better.
They're just angry that one of their retards showed up in the real world and showed what everyone else knows, that this is a batch of useless retards.
I sympathize with the idea of r/Antiwork. I would love to work 32 hours a week and still be able to support myself and my family. However I think being represented by a guy that walks dogs for 20 hours a week is a bad look. Thats essentially a side job to earn some drinking money.
The Chris Elliott character from Get a Life would have been more impressive.
Even if the autistic mod in question is unaware, it feels way too convenient
I'm sure that much like Tucker Carlson, they immediately chose this guy because he was the biggest autistic fuckup they could put on. Of course, pretty much any reddit tranny is made of fail and cringe.

So apparently /pol/ tracked down the tranny janny's resume
Dude, I posted that on page 36. Not only were you not the first to post that, the 4chan post is after my post, which means the Anons took the info from the farms, posted it on 4chan, and then you posted it on here again. Double late

I don't think anybody would even disagree if this person took a shower and didn't come off like a complete retard, not sure about cutting hours or how that would work but corporations could definitely stand to treat their employees better across the board, I think that's a pretty apolitical statement since everybody has had shitty jobs and shitty bosses.

The sad part is there clearly is something wrong with the system. Out of almost all of my friends, most don't have their own place. Home ownership seems like a pipe dream for most millennials, the economy's shit, cost of living has gotten unreasonably expensive compared to our parents' generation, and inflation is fucking us harder than it has in decades.

These are important issues that need solving, but retards like the /r/antiwork people take it over and make it into that Twitter Thread where everyone says that their job after the Communist revolution will be "teaching the kids" or "librarian" and the only guy saying "hard labor" gets called a larper by the rest of the leftists.
