Always a good sign when your representative gets hit with the most obvious questions imaginable to calling yourself "anti-work" and can't respond without digressing into fifty paragraphs of word salad.

shit i'm barely math literate despite having a B.S in STEM, and a minor in Ochem, tfw I can barely do basic calcI never realized that for Americans, taking a gap year is apparently hardcore, revolution action.
A high school diploma means everything from college level coursework to functional illiteracy. That is a problem.
I wish I didn't know how right that is. In my field I see papers by people who shouldn't even be allowed within a hundred feet of a university being published in major journals. If I see the phrase "black bodies" used one more time in a paper that isn't about the physics of light I'll blow my top.You should see the PhD's publishing in some fields.
This can create "expert beginners" who might do a project following a tutorial or two, get something that works but who never understand the fundamentals and can never really progress. You can learn almost anything online.
I know Vaush was confronted about this. ( Owe you the clip, if i have a chance to look it up i'll add it.) He is constantly shilling unionizing and co-ops yet he just hires the people who work on his content per gig instead of giving them equal shares. His response was just the usual:I'd pay good money to see r/antiwork seriously debate whether or not creators on OnlyFans or Twitch should unionize. That discussion might actually lead to a civil war within the subreddit.
When I did mostly research in medicine or Ochem (mainly with catalysis) when going through systematic/scoping reviews prior for our protocols it all looked good but then when I got into public policy research...I saw what you're describing and it's so hurtfully true with some of the literature i've seen. At some point I had to do a literature review and the sheer amount of issues (methodological, stats bullshit, etc) I could see were outstanding. I, basically a retarded scrub of an indentured servant could see all these issues and no one else could? I refuse to think that's the case these assholes and peer review committees HAVE TO KNOW, these assholes know it and it still flies, i'm so MATI that can't even express my rage adequately. Hell I got so well acquainted with the PRISMA guidelines as an undergrad it still haunts me, I don't understand what faggotry let's this shit fly.I wish I didn't know how right that is.
